She's a pretty, slim, white 53 year old who hasn't had much (or any) work done. So many of our perspectives are distorted by the number of actors/celebrities who have had plastic surgery or a lot of procedures. I think she looks natural and lovely-it's really refreshing to see.

I think she looks fantastic. She is aging beautifully. I loved her look poolside—the navy outfit—showing (barely) some midriff—sweater around her neck.

They make her look “appropriately tired/aged/stressed” when the scene calls for it. I hate when most series (Kidman in mms)—the actress looks as well coifed even when it’s a distraughtful, stressed time

And she’s an Ivy grad herself. Native Manhattan-Nyer. She comes from $. She has the look down. Not a trophy wife. This is how old $ ages, gracefully, naturally- but fit and pulled together, understated.

Yes this! Late to the thread also and was so disappointed that the first two pages seemed to be entirely devoted to how a 50 yo woman dared to look 50! What on earth. But also I grew up in the area being lampooned here and I think her look is pretty spot on - when you’re from a place it’s not necessary to cosplay your impression of that place once you’ve *ARRIVED!!!* You’re just…from there, and that’s your life. Agree that coupling with the NBA player for years seems off though; that person would be more glitzy-looking

Was anyone else getting the female characters confused? Almost all of them had long dark brown hair.

I just finished the series. I am a fan of Jonathan Tropper and I thought some of the dialog was clever and funny. I also like Jon Hamm but some of the time he fell really flat. Amanda Peet is great and I just watched another show with her recently (older one) and her character in this was just like her cashmere beige sweatsuit most of the time. Olivia Munn is always great until the final monologue, which sounded like she had a robot read it. I told my husband at the end (he did not watch it with me) that I could have boiled the entire season down into a good two-hour movie, but this just felt too long. I had previously watched a series that was so gripping I was hooked the entire time, whereas here I found myself constantly reaching for my phone. It almost made me mad because the great moments showed it had so much promise but I felt like overall it failed to deliver.

lol I was laughing so hard we have a dad who looks exactly like this basketball player on our street. The wife is a pharmacist executive.

Another power woman married a younger Pedro pascal.

I know Olivia Munn has had terrible health challenges but she is not a good actress. Gorgeous though.

She is there for placement marketing of Loewe crop tops.

I totally had the same thought w that monologue. It literally sounded like she was reading. It ruined so much of the episode for me and was very weird.
