I mean, it is lacking depth. The characters are one dimensional caricatures. It’s not a well written show, but it’s about wealthy people so it’s entertaining. A lot of shows that lack substance just use wealth to draw viewers in and it works.

I hate to sound mean, but Jon hamm is also terrible in this role. He was great in mad men, and I liked him in the small role he had in Friends with kids, but he’s not really convincing in this role.
I agree with all this. I also can't stand that goofy smile he always.

I loved him as Don Draper but I think he is good in this role. It seems a lot closer to his actual personality.

This season is supposed to have 10 episodes, correct? This week’s seems like a finale

9 episodes, this was the finale.

This show has been a ton of fun. We are looking forward to Season 2. Not every show needs depth.

Agreed. Everyone’s a bit of an ahole but still very likeable and I want more.

Just an odd number for a season

It was an easy watch. I have a feeling season 2 is going to suck, but I’ll watch anyway. I actually liked Sam, so was kind of bummed how she turned out. I can’t stand Mel, I hope her and Coop don’t get back together in the next season. Barney and his family were the most interesting and likable IMO. I hope they get more of a storyline in the next Season.

I was really hoping that there'd be a cliffhanger with the police detective matching Coop's fingerprints to the stolen watch somehow. All in all, this was kind of a waste of time but I'm sure i'll end up watching Season 2 b/c I love Amanda Peet.

I kind of loved the ending - wasn’t expecting that at all! You’d think that a person who barely escaped serious jail time might okay it safe from then on, but apparently not! 😀

Ugh, I found Barney’s wife to be seriously selfish and overly materialistic. I liked Mel but was so tired of Nick - glad they broke up.

One thing I like about Jon Hamm is the way he plays a father - without having any kids of his own. He’s very believable in that role.

I thought the ending was boring and flat. It wrapped up too much too perfectly. And the rolling stone song playing montage was trite.

I thought it was weird that there was no big cliffhanger at the end.

True about Barney’s wife. And we saw how messed up her parents were too. I think they could add an interesting element to the show if we got more of this family.

I know it is so dumb but I couldn’t get past how ridiculous he looked with the too-small baseball hat on his giant head. He looked like he was wearing a toddler’s hat.
