Well. NM was listed as an Assistant Coach for my kid's RL team and we didn't receive ANY email notifications about this at all. Just the announcement email about RS that everyone else received.

GFR has been falling apart for a few years now. The NVA alliance thing did nothing but help their club take other clubs best players so it made zero sense why they wanted to join that? Now with no big names and a board that isn't experienced I really want to know what their plan is for the future, since it used to be a really great club.

news…. NVA barely took any players. Which is why alliance fell apart. And why NVA is mediocre.

Falling apart? The club had arguably their best year ever with almost every RL team around the top 4. I think the only RL teams that are struggling are the teams associated with the clowns that just hijacked the club.

PP here can only speak to older teams and they have not been "top 4" since a lot of players moved on from the girls side. I personally do not follow the team that have "the clowns" but based on what we have seen its just sad what has happened to the culture at GFR.

2012: 2nd/12
2011: 4th/12
2010: 3rd/12
2009: 1st/12
2008: 10th/11
2007/06: 2nd/12

I'll give you, the 08 team is not a good team but as you can see, all of the other teams are absolutely "top 4".

You can even go a step further and see the standings of the 2013 & 2014. Girls side is absolutely solid. This little hiccup between the board and some 3rd party LLC ain’t gonna change that folks.

Our girls team has at least 5 girls leaving. They had offers elsewhere and when this happened this week, they all took them. So I’m sure others will follow as people get nervous that they won’t have a team. There’s been no info except providing interim coach info for practice and last weekend’s games.
