Is Alexandria getting GA back?

It's so the few clubs can charge alot more money. It's not about the kids or tue developement. It's about supply and demand

How many marks can I convince with this well branded Girls Academy thing that is part of MLS too (wink, wink) to dump $4k and have the honor to travel cross country twice a year to play competition no better than what you can play in EDP 1 right now in VA. Wake up people!

ECNL and GA > "The Chesapeake League" but good job selling it as an "elite league" in a desperate attempt to convince kids and parents that they will be playing at a "higher level."

Meanwhile, the same kids at Alexandria, who didn't move to ECNL or GA, are playing the same teams they have played since U9 against the same kids who also didn't move on to ECNL or GA. It's still traveling to St. Mary's County or Woodbridge but it's "more elite" now. It's "The Chesapeake League."

Your jealousy is showing. Alexandria already has MLSN for boys but still weren't deemed fit for GA for the girls.

"Those grapes were probably sour anyway. "

Why does it bother you if people want to pay for it? Does it also bother you when people pay for a Louis Vuitton branded bag when they could buy one just as good from Target? People pay for brands all the time. Why does this bother you so much?

Because it's The Alexandria Warrior? It's what she/he/they do.

Not bothered, just trying to stimulate conversation and educate at the same time. Sorry the truth makes you uncomfortable.

GA is now claiming those develpment teams from RL as full fledge members. It's misleading to consumers. The GA league league in VA is not going to be good for some time becuase ECNL is still a player. Diminished yes, but now more exclusive which means something to snobby soccer people. I don't know how things shake out; but right now its ECNL and GA is neo-RL which will be great for many girls but don't get it twisted.

League is one thing, club is another. Let's stop conflating the two. You have great clubs in weaker leagues and bad clubs in top leagues that attract players just because of status. Talking about ECNL and GA nationally is fine, but focus on the area. NVA didn't magically turn into a local RL level team simply because they changed leagues. If VDA switched next season, would you say the same? Arlington? Talent is talent

Most important point. Its about clubs, not league.

Trying to educate? Ha! Funny, just dispersing attention to make it now about ECNL vs GA. There is plenty of that already. This is about a club who does not deserve to be in GA, at least not yet. They will have to prove in Aspire and then maybe if they grab good talent and coaching can attempt GA in the next 2 years.

Yes! They keyboard Asa warrior on the clock. Makes a bunch of questions (lawyer style) and loves to disperse attention from the issues affecting the club. Pretty obvious.

I’m confused, is there an update for Alexandria or people just making stuff up about a Chesapeake league? What was communicated to members.

So aren't you playing the same teams non stop that are pretty much below average but traveling alot further every year?
