Don't worry it won't happen for them. GA is only getter better, and is a great alternative to ECNL. In a few more years, they might become the leading platform for girls, who knows. But yeah, ASA def won't happen.

I predict that at most they might get in Aspire. That could help them rebuilt in time. It will be a disaster if they are given full membership, for the league (will make the league diluted not better). IF they get in, they will continue to lose and all will be for nothing, as they will get booted again.

All but one of the SYC teams are mid-table or lower. So what are you are referring to?

VA is only going to get weaker now with all the new RL level teams combining to create as super league they just rebranded as GA-Virginia. Does no one see the this for what it is?

For weak teams maybe but the younger teams are strong....ASA will be just fine

Basically you want all of the "elite" talent to be funneled to the same places. For what exactly? So many confused parents with contradictory goals. Your DD's team isn't getting recruited to the same college yet you want the team to be as strong as possible from 1-18 hoarding talent just to win? I love the shortsighted takes on youth soccer. More options forces clubs to do what they claim they do.

Except is doesn't. It just waters everything down and creates a bunch of mediocrity. Your DD then plays with/against that mediocrity.

So hoarding talent on to one team is the answer. Just keep it at 18 so everyone can get a chance to play. RL should be the development league as it was created to promote. GA is now claiming those develpment teams from RL as full fledge members. It's misleading to consumers. The GA league league in VA is not going to be good for some time becuase ECNL is still a player. Diminished yes, but now more exclusive which means something to snobby soccer people. I don't know how things shake out; but right now its ECNL and GA is neo-RL which will be great for many girls but don't get it twisted.
