I could go on, but the GOP did an expert job of handing slogan far left policies on to the whole party, when in fact, the Dem party leadership is moderate/liberal, not progressive. So instead, we will have a christian nationalist authoritarian regime.

I can't stand the guy, but I am the product of two parents who were teachers. My mom taught at a Title I school, too. So, I will just say that the tampons in a men's room are not the worst idea. But other nominees could have had vetting issues, too, and I think he would have made a good president.

The fundamental problem is that Harris is a moderate liberal Californian with a kind of New Age background and only pretty good public speaking skills for someone at her level of achievement, and she was running at a time when the world is a mess, and moderates and conservatives were tilting back toward being more conservative.

If Trump lets elections happen in 2026, voters will probably tilt back the other way then.
