As far as MnD, all eyes are on the '28s fall season coming up. Be interesting to see if the skinny I've been hearing is true.

NL/M&D DC ‘28s? Is that the team you are referring to?

They still have a team at ‘28? What could the “skinny” possibly be?

That poster knows nothing of substance or they would actually say. Just stirring the pot.
Was talking about the Cap '28s. The only ones trying to stir the pot are Cap blowhards (see more than half of the posts above in this entire thread ^^^).

Cap ‘28s, in only their second scrimmage, tied what is very likely the best team in the country (Hero’s Green ‘28) after only practicing together for 6 weeks. They are going to be fine and if you can’t distinguish M&D DC from Capital you’ve got issues.
Sounds like you're admitting you have issues. I distinguish fine, just didn't note it. You weren't able to pick up on it, even though that exact thing has been mentioned on here dozens of times. Cap also got handled easily by the #17 team. But... they were scrimmages. So, big weekend coming up. For both Cap Blue and MnD '29s. Be sure to pop on back after the games.

Me distinguish good, just not want show me good distinguisher.
You should be able to distinguish just fine after this weekend. Come on back and give us your thoughts on how they both did.

No 2029 parent I know is even remotely interested in how the 2028s are doing in fall scrimmages or games. The 2028s could lose every game by 20 goals and it would not change my desire to have my DD play for Capital Blue in high school.

You might want to rethink that decision

Prediction: MD teams will own MnD this weekend as usual.
Guess you missed it, they've already been cashing on some old receipts this year!!!

Though it's true if they want to reach into the top 10 this year, the weekend presents a great opportunity to follow on last month's work and there's more to do.

Hope Cap '28s can keep from having that same domination happening to them like it did to the Cap '27s last year!! Good luck!

Can this go back to the 29s please?

This is such a strange argument. I don’t think anyone cares about caps wins/loss record as much as their recruiting record. I can’t imagine any of those 26s headed to their dream schools are upset they didn’t beat the MD teams their freshman year. If parents are looking at a cap record, it will be their recruiting record. Also, before you go with the same old cap parents argument, I don’t have a daughter on Cap, my daughter isn’t planning on trying out for cap and I’ve never posted about them before. Just simple logic that they have a good recruiting record and that holds more weight than a 9th grade teams wins.

As for MD DC, they have a bunch of talented girls on the team. They’re probably tied with BLC for best DC team. Neither of those teams are in the top bracket this weekend with the MD teams. I’d imagine they’ll both go undefeated in pool play.

Huh. Was thinking you'd next be scolding the Cap parent next for lobbing the actual 1st grenade that the post replied to, but I guess not.

Trust me, top MnD players will be there. Realistically, probably only 5-7 will make Blue which is still pretty good.

Hopefully for them, they'll have for the '27s and '28s as well.

Only Freshman and Sophomore so no ‘27s. They will be busy being recruited.

Well, nobody can start recruiting them for almost a couple months from then. Too bad they couldn't get a tryout going for the summer.

No quality club has tryouts going into Junior year. MnD DC Dad clearly does not know this. MnD DC will, though - of that, I am sure.
