As far as MnD, all eyes are on the '28s fall season coming up. Be interesting to see if the skinny I've been hearing is true.

NL/M&D DC ‘28s? Is that the team you are referring to?

They still have a team at ‘28? What could the “skinny” possibly be?

How will they know? It’s not like they have a roster list of those participating. Besides, there were so few spots girls from many teams tried to register but were denied. How will they have insight into that collective? And if they find that the whole team is registered, maybe the coaches need to reflect and figure out a special sauce on how to keep these girls happy on their team.

Lax world talks as is evident by these boards. As soon as one kid from M&D DC is recognized they will be outed here for sure.

I’m not a ‘29 parent but one only needs to go to the 375+ pages of the ‘28s thread to see that the obsession over the Cap Tryouts is real up to and including who shows and who does not.

This is absolutely true. The obsession about the clinics and then tryouts is real. Given the back and forth on here about Cap vs M&D I think it is safe to assume that it will be reported if/when M&D DC players show for clinics.

That poster knows nothing of substance or they would actually say. Just stirring the pot.

Let’s make a wager on how many of the mnddc girls are at the winter clinic. There were only 30 spots. I approximate 5. And I bet 15 tried to register but could t get a spot.

I predict the team will be dismantled come mid July. And karma will be one fierce b&tch

Was talking about the Cap '28s. The only ones trying to stir the pot are Cap blowhards (see more than half of the posts above in this entire thread ^^^).

Cap ‘28s, in only their second scrimmage, tied what is very likely the best team in the country (Hero’s Green ‘28) after only practicing together for 6 weeks. They are going to be fine and if you can’t distinguish M&D DC from Capital you’ve got issues.

Yeah, maybe M&D DC ‘29s top kids go to Capital. Does not change the fact that the Capital parents are insufferable.

Sounds like you're admitting you have issues. I distinguish fine, just didn't note it. You weren't able to pick up on it, even though that exact thing has been mentioned on here dozens of times. Cap also got handled easily by the #17 team. But... they were scrimmages. So, big weekend coming up. For both Cap Blue and MnD '29s. Be sure to pop on back after the games.

No 2029 parent I know is even remotely interested in how the 2028s are doing in fall scrimmages or games. The 2028s could lose every game by 20 goals and it would not change my desire to have my DD play for Capital Blue in high school.

Who said anything about parents? Have you decided where your DD is going to college? And no one is taking a poll about parents' thoughts at also-ran clubs.
