2025 VA Governor's race

Combine that with other GOP conversations around abolishing income tax, and Virginians get to choose between keeping their money and being taxed blind.

Spanberger does not have this in the bag.

Ohio and Virginia are different.

Vivek isn't going to win in Ohio. That said, Ohio is VERY different than Virginia. Very.

I'd like to think we are smarter in VA than OH...but we have people from the highly educated Fairfax County saying they are going to vote for Republicans because they are mad about boundary shifts...when Youngkin and Republican State Senator Peake tried to pass legislation that you could go to school wherever you want. E.g. Want to go to Langley High but live in Springfield? Why not? So speaking of money, I'd be pretty angry if I paid Langley High School real estate prices just have anyone be able to go there.

Eghhh I don’t believe those people saying that actually live in Fairfax. I think it’s a lot of trolling, or 2-3 very loud posters. People are much more concerned about their financial livelihoods and careers. Now I don’t know how much the governor of VA can do against the big bad federal government, but I believe that Spanberger at least wouldn’t sell us out to Dump and Elmo et al for a good table at Mar a Lago and a positive toilet tweet.

Trumpy Sears doesn’t stand a chance. 46% is hopeful.

Someone that holds an assault rifle in their campaign photo has no business being governor.

She has no chance of winning given her support of the federal job cuts and DOGE. If republicans actually pretended to care about feds losing their jobs and called a special legislative session to pass bills to support Virginias economy then she might have a chance. However, Youngkins tone deaf and pretentious response to the job losses has sealed her fate.

You won't believe this, but RoVA gets a vote too. I don't think RoVA has much tolerance for Yankee candidates.
