the scores went up we still have issues. Unbelievable lol.

What is with you and the Asians? You sound ignorant. Are you jealous that they put such importance on education? What's it to you? Just get a grip and find a hobby and stop obsessing over other people. You are the crazy one.

Why do you assume only Asians take education seriously? Earlier a post was made saying let’s see the SOL scores. Well now they are out and yet we still have detractors. I’m going to have to assume something else is going on - there seems to be no willingness to accept the new principal. I wonder if it’s bc of racism.

I’m not associated with Navy at all, but it seems as though there is a significant number of teachers and parents that preferred the old principal

I think combo "beloved" principal/AP leaving was hard for some teachers/parents. Change is always hard. The new principal seems capable. On another note, I wonder if FCPS is not updating the vacancies as they are filled.

Anyone know what happened to the former beloved principal? Is he still with FCPS?

Yes but is not at a school. This is not relevant to the topic.

?? I wish that sentiment would actually be applied to the new guy who’s just trying to do his job.

Parents? Yes, I suppose.

Teachers? That's possibly debatable.

There are plenty of parents who like the new principal.

Fairfax is about to do two job fairs so hopefully they can secure some people from there.

How do those work? Why wait for a job fair as opposed to just applying online? Is there an advantage?

Get to meet and speak to different principals at once. Licensed teachers with a half decent interview will be offered jobs on the spot. They hired 150 teachers at the last one
