Harris for President: new poll shows she's got the most chance at beating Trump

Anonymous
I would FAR rather lose to Trump having taken a risk to field a new candidate, than lose to Trump fielding Biden.

It's the difference between courage and cowardice. Right and wrong. The GOP is irredeemable with their Trump obsession, but the Democrats are better than that and should not stick with a decrepit and confused old man.

Why?

Her past performances.

You are some RWNJ who knows nothing about her past performance other than what is served up to you on the trash you consider “news”.

Why are you coming after me simply because she gets stuck in word salads, has weird and inappropriate laughs and can’t follow trains of thoughts well? This is not about me, it’s about finding a Biden replacement.

She would be competing against Biden’s performance. Timing is everything.

Timing works against her not for her. She will need to spend her time rallying the various Democratic factions behind her, many of whom would prefer a Newsome or Whitmer, much less come after Trump.

Those factions are already voting against Trump. Worst case, a placeholder President is better than four more years of treasonous Trump continuing to sell us out to Saudi Arabia, etc.

Biden was supposed to be the placeholder president while the Dems found a good candidate and while the Reps moved on and found a good candidate.

Instead, here we are.

Please share your list of good candidates they have. Any? Nope didn't think so. GOP will cozy up to orangehead if it wins, orangehead will get what he has longed seeked - attention, and he will hand over the reins to his, oh geez - gulp, his kids.

You mean like the Bush family, Kennedy family (with a son running for office now) and the Biden family ?

Biden always talked about how his son Beau should’ve been the President and now his son Hunter is the de facto co-President along with Jill.

Trump doesn’t even like his sons or the youngest son. There’s zero evidence Melania will even move in to White House or that Trump will want to remain President for life. He wants to go back to Mar a Lago and not spend his golden years in decline at the WH unlike Joe .

As for Ivanka, she doesn’t have any personality . Trumps base won’t vote for her and/or Kushner .

Trump doesn’t care about extending his presidency to his family like his predecessors have (Kennedys, Clintons, Cheneys, Bushes, possibly Obamas)

If Liz Cheney runs for President , I swear Im moving to London. If Trump is able to destroy her career, he should win a Nobel prize

You’re ok with the entire Democratic primary being a joke? Ok with having your candidate selected for you in the proverbial cigar-filled room? Because once you go down that path it’s hard to go back to anything resembling democracy.

That's what happened in 2020 when Obama called other candidates and had them drop out, to stop Bernie.

Yeah, the Dems are such paragons of virtue with their hiding of POTUS’s clear incapacity and most undemocratic way of running the country by unelected administrative aids. I never want to hear a progressive again talk about preserving democracy after witnessing this $hit show.

Exaggerate much? Biden looked and sounded old not clearly incapacitated. Old but not take away his driver's license old.

So true. Every single time a Democrat cries and wrings their hands about fearing for Democracy, I’m laughing now. And I voted for Biden last time.

He could live for years with the condition he has. It’s not about his age but it common in older people more often. It runs in families.

No. Obama ran and won.

You are either stupid or still think everyone in America has amnesia.

Wait - you’re saying you would allow him to drive if that was your father??

Are you kidding me? You are telling me you’d let Biden drive your kids around after that performance? That’s objectively bad judgment on your part.

Sure, he could live for years, and be incapacitated for most of them.

Do you honestly think Biden is in any condition to take a call at 3 am with the news that China has launched an attack on Taiwan? I’m genuinely worried about that happening now given that it’s now transparently obvious there is no competent executive at the helm in the Oval Office. Are we supposed to be comfortable because Jill and Hunter Biden are supporting him at 3 a.m.?
