Joe Biden was supposed to be a placeholder President, and then Kamala Harris was supposed to be the future of the party. We are just seeing the timeline moving up more quickly than expected.

Incredible because nobody in the Democrat Party wanted either. Elizabeth Warren was the choice in 2020 , but Biden , not the RNC or Trump, but the DNC ruined her campaign with Native American gate and Trump took the bait and started attacking her.

I don’t think anyone but Warren ruined her campaign. She is not popular with the business faction of the Democrats. The business faction of the Dems also grew with many business folks living the GOP because it isn’t the home of pro-business policy. Warren sunk her own ship. (I say this as someone who likes Warren. But also will note, if you don’t maintain a tribal identity w/ the tribe you claim then you have no business claiming heritage.)

From what I have seen Biden is not capable of another 4 years. But putting that aside, it seems clear he has no shot at another 4 years. He needed a solid debate performance and it was the opposite. He was the wrong pick. Democrats should be bold and take a risk.
