What are some restaurants or stores that you WILL NOT shop at?

Brooks Brothers

The product is not nearly good enough to justify the snoot and indifference of the employees

They told my wife that she needed four new control arm on our 3yo Subaru, estimate: $3600.

Longtime mechanic said one control arm bushing, $500 and that included an oil change and tire rotation. Screw those con artists.

LOL yes they stink

Once they charged me for an oil change and said they fixed a broken brake light.

I literally stood in the parking lot with the manager while he mansplained that the oil change was done. My father owned a gas station with mechanic bays my whole life. I know what an oil change is and whether it was done or not. And the light OMG>

Never ever again.

How can you tell by looking at a car if the oil has been changed?

Only thing I could find is that he donated to the Fresh Air Fund https://www.nhregister.com/living/article/Edible-Arrangements-CEO-gives-20K-to-Register-11383673.php

So, you’re good to go to continue getting a dozen chocolate dipped cantaloupe for your honey.

I won't go to anything held at FedEx Field or whatever it's called now. It's 100 miles away, expensive and ugly.

I rarely go but when I do, I marvel at all the things they have that I never knew I wanted. I'm sad for you that you don't get to enjoy this.

I think you're making their point...

Right, I don't disagree that it's useless crap, I just enjoy looking at it sometimes.

You’re missing out on CYM. So good!

No... no, no, no.

Is it better than a super market bagel? Absolutely. Better than Bethesda Bagel? No. Fun flavored cream cheese and I wouldn't be MAD if someone got me a CYM bagel, but as far as bagels go, they are, at best, just fine.

So buy your BB suits online or even on eBay for a huge discount. Got DS a BB tux on eBay for prom, exactly in his size, for $70. The quality is definitely a lot better than some of the other men’s places.

Yeah, I buy online. I'd never go in.

If you're a man who doesn't know his measurements, you're a joke. Go get yourself measured and never step foot in a store again. For almost all good mens' fashions, but ESPECIALLY the kind that Brooks Brothers sells, you don't need to see the "latest" and you certainly don't need some salesperson telling you what to wear. Because you already know the answer and because they are not your friend, they are trying to sell you things you know you don't want.

An American in Paris in old town Alexandria. JFC that lady is insane - shocked it’s still in business. Along the same lines, Reformation in Mosiac. Not as crazy but such snobbery in that place.
