Inspired by the Chik-Fil-A thread, any places you have real hangups about?
I won't go to Dunkin Donuts. The coffee is too acidic, the donuts give me heartburn and it just seems like a lame Boston cult. |
| Big Lots. It sounds like a giant pants store. |
In college my roommate bought a set of clip-on spinning rims for like $24 there. |
| I also won't go to IHOP. Like it in theory, never works out in practice. |

Hobby Lobby
Any store in Rehoboth, OC selling Trump crap. Any store anywhere selling Trump crap. |

I want to go, but can't ever bring myself to do it. |
|
Hobby lobby and I won’t go to the museum of the Bible since they stole all the artifacts in there.
|
| WalMart, all fast food places, and any "Super" stores. Like SuperTarget or whatever - I went into one once and had some sort of anxiety or panic attack and had to walk out. I think not being able to see the outside or figure out where it was, really threw me. |
+1 I could be interested in a museum about the bible, but not one based on stolen artifacts. |
I just think they're great examples of places that don't do anything particularly well. Hey, you can buy some kind of sad bell peppers and a quart of motor oil from the brand you didn't want! |
| I agree with you on Dunks and I'm a New Englander. Their food is gross and their coffee is so acidic |
|
I'll go anywhere at least once.
I generally try to avoid Walmart, only because it's a madhouse. It's out in Germantown anyways, so I don't make it there too often. Life long democrat, still eat at CFA, and I've shopped at Hobby lobby before. But really don't have much need for the stuff they sell. |
Me too. |
Also from NE. I worked at one in high school. It's gotten completely out of hand. The problem with their baked goods is actually one that a lot of commercial bakeries have—too much baking soda/powder. Gives it a nice look, but is horrific for anyone who is even remotely prone to heartburn. |
