Feb 23rd actually so you dont need to worry. |
I didn't say any of those things. But I will spell this out for you: You've created many strawmen, and have predictably got very emotional and attached to the strawmen that you've created. There are several posters playing you here and it's hilarious. You're such a tool. |
NP. As someone who was adopted in 1961, I can say for a fact you are right. I have the counseling notes from the adoption agency. (They will send you those redacted.) My father was my mother's boss; he ditched her when she became pregnant. She wanted to keep me, but could see no way forward to do so. She had lost her job, her family were strict Baptists who would disown her for an out of wedlock pregnancy, she was homeless, and she was already in debt as she had to borrow money just to pay the adoption agency. (So much all the charity there!) The social worker wrote that my mother was also being threatened by my birth father with exposure if she tried to name him as the father. So without options, she gave me up. The adoption industry is a racket oftentimes. And I am very pro choice after seeing the suffering people made her go through. |
Your poor Mommy. If I were her, after I'd gotten my life back together I'd have disowned those Baptist parents. What jerks. |
Reading all the posts there is a lot of unprotected sex going on crazy. |
This. It's also very hard on the kid to be neglected and rejected by their bio dad. Former Dodger star Steve Garvey fathered two kids out of wedlock and has ghosted his oldest two children by his first wife for 15 years. The deadbeat dad is running for California Senate as a Republican. Family values, indeed. https://www.latimes.com/california/story/2024-02-01/2024-california-election-dodgers-senate-candidate-steve-garvey-kids-family |

I’m glad my mom kept me when she was in a similar situation 39 years ago
She never married or had another kid. Similarly, I believe she is glad she kept me as I am now proving a ton of emotional, financial, and life support as she has dementia and is in assisted living at age 77. Otherwise she would have no one but her sister who also has dementia and her brother who has cancer. |
How old are you? |
I am 23 |
what are you talking about. Your comment was: Several posters have responded that you should get sterilized, if you aren't already. How you've interpreted that as baby stealing or forced breeding is bizarre. Literally nobody wants you to give birth. I don’t even know how to respond to such a dumb comment. You’re telling a total stranger who has already said that she’s in her late 40s and has two kids that she should get sterilized. That’s an incredibly stupid and ridiculous thing to say. If you cannot intelligently comment on the issue of women choices in handling an unwanted pregnancy, why feel the need to say anything at all? Your comment adds nothing to the conversation. Do you think that I’ll go ahead and say, “Great idea?” You suggestion will not change how I act or how other women act. The only person you can sterilize is yourself. Go for it! The thing is you are a virulent pro-lifer and you cannot accept that most Americans are not. Most women will continue terminating their unwanted pregnancies and will not willingly give their babies up for adoption. No amount of name calling or suggestions of sterilization will change that. But keep them coming. I don’t care. I love arguing with stupid people. You're not actually responding to the comment at all. You need to work on your reading comprehension. What are you talking about? Do you like to throw out catchphrases you don’t understand, like reading comprehension?Your comment was very simple. You told me to get sterilized. The exact words are below: “Several posters have responded that you should get sterilized, if you aren't already. How you've interpreted that as baby stealing or forced breeding is bizarre. Literally nobody wants you to give birth.” And I responded by saying that I am menopausal and already had two children, so the suggestion of sterilization was ludicrous. And then I continued to reiterate that very few women with unwanted pregnancies will voluntarily give their babies up for adoption. Most will terminate the pregnancy. That is their preference and their CHOICE. The more you write the more amazed I am at your stupidity. It’s truly stunning. |
It will get worse with more contraceptives being banned by the Republicans. |
It has always been this way. ALWAYS. I have not met a person yet who didn’t find a surprise relative after doing DNA testing through Ancestry.com |
Yes your right it has always been going on but condoms are always available. Idk lol |
