If it had been Gyn, she’d have gone to St Mary’s or the Portman.

They do have plastic surgery, I see. I'm guessing it's a face lift.

The woman has zero body fat, and no sagging skin. There is nothing to lift!

Yea I don’t get the facelift talk. If she is into that kind of thing at her age in 2024 it would be Botox and filler.

The Royals are pretty much against plastic surgery (at least anything obvious). That would look like they're wasting public funds.

It seems the three main contenders are:

1) surgery Crohn’s disease
2) colitis surgery
3) procedure to repair intestinal damage from an eating disorder
Complications from an eating disorder is my guess. They wouldn’t be so cagey about routine procedures.
It's nobody's business and clearly you have an obsession with her weight. They said it was abdominal surgery for a benign condition. I know women who have had abdominal surgeries with similar long recovery periods.

Obviously a serious surgery if it requires a lengthy hospital stay. Also will need to manage the kids (even with help).

Or, at least appear to be hands on

Two weeks in hospital for a hysterectomy is pretty extreme.

I have a dumb question. Does she pay for this? Do they have health insurance? Just wondering the logistics.

When did they say it was for a benign condition? They said it was non cancerous, planned (i.e not immediate emergency life threatening), and that she would require an extended hospital stay followed by a long recovery period at home.

They said that Charles enlarged prostate was a benign condition.

I think it must be something intestine related as well. I know someone who spent two weeks in hospital for repair of a punctured intestine. There is a very high risk for sepsis with that kind of surgery.

Britain has universal health care but im sure Kate isn’t waiting a year to see a specialist like everyone else in the UK. Prob private pay or private insurance if such a thing exists there.

They wouldn't schedule it at the same time as the King's surgery. Plus, her face is already tight. What's there to lift?!?

I agree. Could it be a preventative face lift?
