Just 1 block from the location of Frumin’s upcoming crime meeting. Perfection.

I'm not sure people realize but literally dozens of these meetings have been held over the past few years, previously with Cheh, but often with MPD, USA, etc. They take place in other wards too. Things have only gotten worse. You can find recordings of many on YT, search by ANC by links posted on ND by some sort of citizen group affiliated

with MPD districts.

I do think it's important to attend if you can, Graves does seem to be able to dial up the prosecution rate at will, at least a bit, when under scrutiny. But, mostly a dog and pony show, especially with so many on the panel.

Frumin dithered re: supporting Pinto's Emergency Bill in June. He supports elevating a convicted murderer to the Sentencing Commission. Best to manage expectations.

Re: location, run the crime cards for the building next door to the library or check out the stored ATVs nearby.

Are those ATVs on Macomb? Are they legally parked?

The library is the safest location. The looters always bypass them.

Yes, along Macomb. And No, they are not legally parked. The ATVs, which are illegal on roads in the District of Columbia, are parked on DC public space next to the library, across from a building that hosts a number of voucher residents.

I know it wasn’t Ward 3, but I really thought two Democratic Congressmembers being assaulted and carjacked would lead to some sort of change or a message to be sent to but this sht out.

Maybe having more DC government employees commuting will cause more of them to be victims and demands for change will be heard.

I don't think that will make any difference at all, TBH.

There seems to be an issue with drug dealing and ODs in that immediate area, it's unfortunate.

It's Bowser's DC. You have drug dealing, mugging and disorder steps from $3M-$4M homes and outside of a community library heavily used by children. Is this what being more "welcoming" is supposed to mean?

Allen and Nadeau will support Pinto's crime bill. I'm going to guess Frumin will, as well, after hemming and hawing like the simpleton he is.

I bet you think JLG comes out at night to ride these ATV's and lead an army of shoplifters across the city to raid CVS's, Mad Max: Fury Road-style, too, right?

I remember my mom getting a boot on her car in the 80s when she was legally parked. She had to go to court and show photos and all to fight the ticket. My, how times have changed. These can't be impounded?

Why the hate for JLG, PP? She has her hands full across the park, no?

Oddly, women don't seem to be part of DMV ATV culture at all. Just a guy/teen boy thing from what I've seen.

Not yet.

I don't think there have been any arrests in the Jeep stealer/baby napper case either. The guy who shot the college student early on NY day had the decency to turn himself in.

They CAN, they just DON'T. In NYC and Philly they have impounded and crushed like soda cans.
