I know. Heaven forbid Ward 4 not cater to suburban drivers and ahole DC drivers who insist on treating Grant Circle like a speedway. Your hate for improved road infrastructure for vulnerable road users in Ward 4 just inspires me to work harder to get JLG re-elected.

Ward 4 should care abour Ward 4 and not insufferable carpet bagger fundamentalist bikers.

These plans are bad for Ward 4 and Ward 4 residents.

Making Grant Circle impossible to drive will just push traffic onto surrounding streets, which were never designed to accommodate so many cars.

Robbery spree in Ward 4 today. Kids stole a car and followed that up with three robberies. A fourth unconnected later in the day. Where were the violence interrupters?

Where were the police?

Nothing speed humps and speed cameras can't fix.

Nothing blowing stop signs and hiding your license plate number can't fix.

There was major crime spree in Ward 4 today. Same group pulled at least 4 carjackings or armed robberies within a short span of time.

Doesn’t feel like JLG has her pritorities in check.

Lisa Gore has my vote. At least she’s acknowledging the cost short and long term issue with crime.

She is my ANC Chair and she runs great meetings. That’s about all I can say but I support her.

Same thing happened in basically the same part of Ward 4 a few weeks ago on Saturday. Carjackings in the middle of the day, likely connected, in North Brightwood/Takoma.

Maybe this is pathetic, but I like to go on a long walk on Saturday and just don’t feel safe doing it right now. Doesn’t even matter if it is the middle of the day now, you’re still at risk. May start just driving up to residential areas of Silver Spring to walk around, terrible.

And the day ends with an armed robbery in Takoma DC. But never mind that, I really want to hear more about this Grant Circle plan.

They want to turn Grant Circle into one lane. They'd turn the other lane into a protected bike lane. Tens of thousands of people drive through Grant Circle every day, so it would create major traffic jams in the surrounding area. But, hey, it would also benefit, like, 12 cyclists, so there's that.

Shootout in front of the Walmart at the Ward 4 border latest night. Any word on the fruit basket JLG and her supporters are preparing to send to the shooters?

I’m a ward 4 resident. Where did you hear about this incident?

DP. Alan Henney tweeted about it.
