What’s your summer sandal that goes with everything?

Very cute. Wish I could wear flat shoes.

I think those are attractive. A lot less offensive than most of the sandals posted in this thread.

Ugh, thanks to this thread my Instagram ads are in shambles.

I have had problem feet all my life, low volume feet but somehow still have high arches. And I refuse to wear any shoe that I can't walk at least 1 mile in. Some of you might think these are hideous but I love them. Very adjustable and I can walk forever: https://alegriashoes.com/collections/bailee

They look like shoes that come from Amazon.

You can choose to wear something that’s unattractive. That’s absolutely no problem. What gets me is the ones that come on here, post a hideous sandal and then get hurt or whiny that people hate them. If you are posting them to ask if they are hideous, they are hideous.

Me: what does one even mean by a shoe looking weird and fungal?

(clicks link)

Yes, weird and fungal was in fact the most appropriate descriptor

The best part is the ominous shadows due to the weird angle and lighting. I came here this morning just to look at the fungal sandals again lmao

This is not the place for fashion advice. These people live in leggings and wide linen pants. It's appalling.

I do think the crux of the question is "everything". I have birks, I have rubber sandals and I have thin soled sandals. I wouldn't wear them all in the same way.

I love these. The clear mixed with leather make them current but not trendy.

What do we think of these, DCUM?

I like them in theory. They look like you could actually have a fun day wearing them and not have lots of foot pain in the end. That said I wore shoes very similar to that to my law school graduation 23 years ago and to this day I don't know why I chose shoes that seem designed to make my legs look as stumpy as possible.

And I wear a lot of Danskos, I am the one who suggested the Sven clog sandals, I love my Tevas, etc. I do not need fashion sandals. But those were very unflattering, nearly a quarter century ago. At least on me. (I'm five feet tall and muscular.)
