The sad thing is McAuliffe was 100% correct about parents’ role in public education. There already exist myriad ways to have input — but they absolutely do not get to dictate what happens in the actual classroom or schools.

This would be a better message if schools were not undreperforming academically. That is traditionally the key criteria where schools do get taken over and rightfully so.

Sure so VA schools are as bad as Alabama, MO, MI, Kentucky, OHIO, Oklahama, South Dakota etc..

Absolutely schools can do better however the fake messaging from the right is absurd.

Youngkin's goal privatizes schools so he and Devos can pocket the monies DeSantis on track to do the same.

Republcians are stupid and will lose everything. Youngkin is a liar, never stays in VA he used you and you idiots let him.

You need to look at the Nation's Report Card if you think that VA school are better than schools in all those other states. See especially South Dakota, one of the best performing states. Virginia is mostly middle of the pack as are most of those other states. Oklahoma and Alabama are worse.
