I am a kind person, which is why I can no longer support anyone being in such an evil party as the Republican Party.

+1. And I don’t want those people around my children.

We don’t want you woke liberal ideology anywhere near our kids…

Your adult children will spend a lot of time in therapy addressing the hateful, bigoted environment they grew up in. Grey rock, baby.

Wishful thinking on your part. I attended GDS / Sidwell /Maret and the most liberal kids were often the ones with the biggest mental issues. When I transferred to Landon / STA, everyone was normal with no mental issues and therapy etc

You went to elite private schools and yet you still spew half cocked ideas like the above! What a waste! I am pretty sure that any one of your teachers would be disappointed in your lack of critical thinking. Your observations are not exactly scientific. What statistical model did you use for your analysis?

Not the PP, I think they made an interesting observation. Someone else would have to do a rigorous study to validate whether what they observed is consistently the case.

Yes, you sound extremely kind. /s

go ahead and justify the evil and hateful things that party has done, then. Go ahead, I'm waiting

I don't consider anything Republicans have done "evil or hateful." Sorry to disappoint!

DP no surprise here. That's to be expected of Republicans.

Right? I was done with anybody justifying taking babies from their mothers at the border and locking up children...then losing them. That was it for me. That is a crime against humanity, and you mf-ers wrote it off like it was nothing.

Sick, sick, sick

I find it more sick that the children were often not the offspring of those transporting them, and that a lot of the kids were raped/trafficked along the way.

There is some of that, sure, and there are things we can do to safeguard against this that DON’T involve taking a breastfeeding infant from its mother and then basically trafficking it ourselves.

Monsters.

Some of that, sure? There’s a TON of that going on but do focus on falsehoods that you can’t prove.

So, the 4 month old taken from its mother never happened, right?

It’s pointless arguing with you fools - you’re too far gone. Hence why I cut anyone defending this ish from my life.

Enjoy the next Q meeting

Father had a criminal record and could not get asylum. They had no problem leaving three of their other kids in Romania. The child was separated from his mother in Mexico. Unless the father can breast feed, there’s something wrong with the story

Do you not care about little kids getting raped and sold into sex trade?

I said I'm done. You're not worth arguing with.

Yeah, I get it. Facts are inconvenient things

That’s rich coming from someone from your side of the aisle. Is TFG the legitimate president according to you?

Who is TFG?

No more. I was done awhile ago. It’s not politics anymore it’s morality.

Better learn to grow a garden and get you some cows. And fix your own car. Many of those people are republican.

Find out if the CEO of Home Depot is a republican so you know if it’s morally acceptable to get your broccoli seeds from there.

Give me a break! Democrats don’t know how to fix cars in your small mind?

This myopic view is hilarious... I know how to fix my car, I've also done my own plumbing, wiring, tiling, sheetrock. I've grown my own veggies, raised farm animals, hunt, fish, and I know a lot of other liberals who have as well. And by the way we also serve in the military and do all of those other things you think only Republicans do.

+1 to all of this.

I also think it is quaint they don't think we own guns too. Some of us don't need to brandish one to compensate for other shortcomings.

Roberts didn’t want it to go down this way. Three activist justices appointed by Trump did this. Blame them, not all R’s.

And blame RBG for not retiring. And all the Dems who hated HRC and voted for Trump.

Not all R’s are maga. This decision might be a wake up call for R women.

While I’m a lifelong Dem, I’m not an AOC super lefty.

Let’s focus on bringing women and men together to fight this instead of drawing more lines.

AOC has nothing to do with this. Reproductive rights are not a far left belief.

Pretty much. They'll eff it up like they always do. But hey, their kids won't have to learn about systemic racism!

I am so tired of the extreme short term memories of the American public. It really feels like I’m living with the decisions of a large group of schizophrenics

In most other western countries, AOC’s positions are not radical either ..

I have a few long time friends that are Republicans.

They like to think of themselves as separate from
the MAGAs— a fiction I have indulged for too long.

I’m coming to accept they are the same as my lunatic right wing family and near as much, if not more, responsibility for where we are given their education and access to power (compared to most).

It’s sad. I hope our friendships don’t end when I politely point their guilt out.

While I shake my head at the bizarre and destructive trajectory of the Republican Party’s political antics, I think it is best to take people as you find them.

Our DC married into a Republican family (Trump supporters except her husband) and they turned out to be really nice, kind and reasonable people. We still have good friends who are old fashioned Republicans and they are trying to help their party get back into a sane path. They are from deep red states so a lot of it is culture and family traditions.

On the other hand, there are definitely Democrats who are arrogant, unkind and not open to different ways of thinking.

If we stay in our own Echo chambers, things will only get worse.

Most Americans whether D or R support women’s choice and gun controls. i agree with PP who argued for finding common ground and working on that. We need federal protection for abortion rights.

who happen to support racism, nationalism, mysogyny and otherwise subjecting people who aren't straight white christians as the other in a neo-fascist future USA ruled by mobs of Oathkeepers, 3%ers and Proud Boys.

Fine people indeed and you are excusing them.

To the poster who referenced schizophrenics - I am a liberal Democrat who had a schizophrenic brother. He was as kind and liberal as they come. Please don’t throw around mental illness labels as insults.

The only other thing I can think of is bipolar, and that isn’t “kind” either

I mean, I understand what you are getting at and I understand how hard it is. But there is very little else to compare the way people have been wildly swinging back and forth and taking us through it with them.

“USA ruled by mobs of Oathkeepers” - go out and get some fresh air. It’s a nice summer day.
