I was simply responding to those posters who wrote that Younkins somehow would support a blockade of roads in Virginia and would actually help the truckers because it would make him look good to the GOP base and he would be happy to pi$$ off NOVA and so on and this does not make sense to me. allowing gridlock on the roads in NOVA and helping the truckers would end his career as fast a lightning. maybe you should have a drink and relax and read posts more carefully

I fully support these protests and they are absolutely justified. totally ok with it. a non-vaccinated 5 yr old can wait 4-5 months before visiting a museum in NY, until it is safer for him/her to do it without getting exposed to a virus that can have serious consequences.

Do you have proof that they intend to completely block all access to DC? There was a protest before and there was nothing about election results or other BS propaganda you are talking about there. It was for medical choice and allowing the doctors to treat the patients on an individual basic instead of mandating vaccines that don't stop transmission for everyone indiscriminately under the duress of loss to amenities, jobs and education. My guess is that truckers want the mandates to become officially illegal to enforce in any part of the country, it would be great if this goes to SCOTUS and gets banned there unless it's something like Black Plague where bodies are literally piling up in the doorways and it makes sense to declare emergency. I think you wouldn't need to be coercing people into vaccination or locking up then anyway

No none of that is true. Truckers are needed for the next 10 years and then they are by and large obsolete. Yes if they all quite now there would be problems. But they will not. Comp will go up a lot to keep them on the road until they are phased out by self-driving trucks.

And I am not some electric car/self-driving nut. I doubt I will ever own one. I think they are stupid. But I do think the self driving electric trucks will take over in about a decade.
