2021 VA Governors race

The Virginia House of Delegates and Senate are going to remain Democrat majority. We need a Republican governor as a check. I’m voting for Youngkin.

Many reasons why Terry will win. These are just a few.

1. It's a blue state.
2. Nova is one of the bluest parts of the country.
3. He is a perfect fit for nova--sort of pro-business, likes wealth accumulation, tech, and is liberal/sort of progressive on social issues.
4. The shadow of Trump. Nova voters despise him. And they despise Republicans in general.
5. Very few voters care about school board issues or the alleged teaching of "CRT." Just not an issue for them.
6. Youngkin has only been ahead in one poll. Facts matter. No way there are that many "shy" Youngkin supporters.
7. Nova parents are overwhelmingly supportive of vaccine mandates and masking. They don't want to rock the boat on that.
8. Youngkin's awkward campaign.
So, it's Terry by four points.

And if you blame The Mac for your tax bill- you can also blame him for your real estate wealth and your job security here. You can also blame him for the tech boom that has no end in sight for the area. The fact that your kids probably will move back to the state because it’s more affordable than CA and less crazy than TX. Also, you can blame him for the Micron plant in Manassas and Amazon HQ2 and Reston.

And if you want to blame Democrats for your tax woes, you can also blame them for founding TJ, which has made NOVA schools some of the most covetable in the nation.

Oh and also blame them for our amazing state parks and our thriving oyster industry which has also cleaned up our Bay Area.

We will glad take the blame.

The Democrats founded TJ and then their penchant for wokeness took it away.

+1. Momentum is definitely with Youngkin.

The Clinton machine is about to crash into the wall. First Hillary, now McAuliffe and soon Warner (Mark not John). Those boomer fraudsters need to step aside

DP. I thought TJ was pushed by tech people who wanted to attract companies to nova. It worked well. Led to ugly sprawl and all that too, though.

The tech boom in Virginia actually began under Republican Governor George Allen in the 90's.

I was before that. The backbone of the internet has always been in Northen Virginia. It also had a lot less to do with state policies and a lot more to do with the government and the pentagon in particular having a large presence here.

Yep, the good old Pentagon which displaced hundreds of black families is the backbone of NOVA's prosperity. Thanks, massuh.

The House could definitely flip Republican. It is a very slim margin. Do not vote R for Governor assuming the House will be D.

Republicans really need to brace themselves for a crushing loss. In a couple months, Biden’s approval will be back around 53 percent or more.

But, they said it was flown at the "peaceful rally" on January 6. I don't know for sure where it was flown, but the rally at Trump's speech was peaceful from the reports. I took it to mean that is where it was flown. That is not the same thing as the riot at the Capitol.

This sounds like something that is being twisted. Channel 7 just said it was at the insurrection, but that is not what I saw in the clip.

Channel 7 also interviewed Youngkin. He said he was not there and when told about it did not think he would approve.

NO you are not understanding. What they did with the flag is a play out of Hitler's playbook. That is unacceptable. PERIOD>

Nothing is being twisted. Youngkin held a rally with his name on it. If he did not vet those people that is on him Bannon is his guy. Youngkin is a Trump-supporting liar.

The rally was not organized by youngkin. He did not attend. When he heard about it he said it was ‘weird and wrong’. Your attempt to say this is who he is is simply false. https://wtop.com/virginia/2021/10/youngkin-calls-rally-flag-pledge-weird-and-wrong/

He better hope Trump doesn’t hear abt this or he’ll pull his fata$$ed endorsement. That was one of Trump’s only happy days after losing the election.

I would not count of it.

Prices of gas and groceries and lack of products available for the Holidays. Not looking good. Would be great if he could get the infrastructure bill passed.

He supports the Big Lie and election audits.

Who pays for that? Taxpayers.

Millions of $

GA taxpayers, Arizona, Idaho would be but they are sending the bill to Mike Lindell. Virginia won't do that under Youngkin he will scam taxpayers over and over again.

Oh and your lovely private information sold to the highest bidder.

But sure be a single-issue voter for schools. LOL Not like he does not prescribe to the Betsey DeVos way of life. Yeah that won't raise your taxes either or produce awesome schools LOL Virginia schools under Youngkin will be decimated. Not like we don't know the Betsey model.

Youngkin has told you exactly who he is Don the Con just in a smaller package. Still a con man.

The only shady con man is Terry McAuliffe.
