That stress is what other presidents have experienced. It does not stress out the current president. |
I agree for a few reasons. First, he isn’t really the president- Miller and Vance are just reading from the Project 2025 playbook, so it is pretty easy to sign off on bills. Second, he doesn’t have the capacity to empathize and think about how his policies are impacting people. Third, his biggest stress is not getting lost in the White House (those new gold letters do help though). No policy stress here! |
And Trump's history of refusing to pick up the phone or act in any helpful way during national security events probably reduces his stress. |
+1 This man is not stressed. He does and says whatever he wants. He has no shame, is a narcissist and doesn’t care what happens to the American people. He sleeps like a baby at night. |
But Trump is stressed that he is POTUS and still can’t get the respect he thinks he’s due. The constant aggrievement and anger at everything takes a toll. He’s in constant fight or flight mode. |
He received 3 Montreal cognitive assessments in rapid succession. Medically, the protocol is to do this ONLY when the patient has scored badly during the first. Why? Because there aren't that many variants of the test, so a patient can remember the questions from test to test and score better every subsequent time, making the assessment meaningless. You ONLY do this when the patient has shown abnormally low cognitive functioning during the first test, such that following the decline is more important than the patient remembering the questions. So yes, his doctors are lying by omission. |
Cognitive function decline speeds up for humans in their 70s and 80s. This is basic human science. |
Me again. Also, the test is really easy!!! Someone who fails or scores borderline on the MoCA is not fit to work in any position of responsibility. |
It doesn’t speed that fast, habibi |

They could have voted for ANY other R candidate besides trump, that’s on them. Are we as Americans collectively that stupid and gullible?
|
Yes. |

I harbor a lot of bitterness towards Biden's close circle, who deluded themselves (with their jobs and proximity to power on the line) into thinking that he could ever be re-electable. It is VERY difficult for a President to voluntarily renounce a second term - the psychology of someone who has campaigned and clawed their way to the top job does not lend itself to that sort of abnegation. But his team should have resigned rather than help him do this.
Having said that, it's quite obvious that the MAIN reason we're in this mess is Trump. It's his fault. And then it's Fox's fault, for lying to the American people for decades. And then it's all the influencers and politicians who jumped on the wagon for money and influence. And then it's stupid voters for being stupid. That's when you realize that the average IQ is a 100. It's means half the population is BELOW that. So Biden and his team sabotaged us, certainly. But they are far from being at the top of the list of who is responsible. |
GOP voters had three chances to end Trump and didn't. GOP Senators had two chances to end Trump, and didn't. Suggesting in 2021 that the courts would take care of Trump and thus not impeach post-office was an egregious lack-of-action given Trump appointees managed to slow play his cases and eventually run out the clock before justice could be served. |
