Tell me you have dementia without telling me you have dementia.

He just had another assessment??
That’s four in the space of a year, where only one per year is recommended UNLESS there is demonstrated cognitive deficits. Who is covering up for him??

He successfully put the blocks into the block-shaped holes, it’s a miracle!

You have just dashed the presidential hopes and dreams of this guy: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6pDH66X3ClA

Yikes. Such a weird thing to brag about. He’s clearly in trouble.

Yes. The square hole = deported.

My father is in his 90s and hasn't ever had a cognitive test, let alone three or more. You don't get one unless there are suspicions my and you don't get three unless a decline is being tracked.
Anonymous
Did he really have another cognitive test or is he still going on about the last one?

I think he’s still talking about the last one he had. Obviously the stories/rumors about his cognitive decline are getting to him so he feels compelled every so often to reassure us that he’s PERFECT.

Every word he says is a lie. He's obviously NOT perfect or in perfect health. He's declining daily.

He has no idea.

And now posting about dead birds repeatedly, and misidentifying most of them.
Sigh.

If he was anything like Trump, he probably was too stubborn to get tested until things went pretty far south. It seems to line up pretty well with how Trump is acting now—just kind of losing more of his filter.

With the MRIs and cognitive tests I suspect Trump was already diagnosed, they are just hiding it from us.

He received 3 Montreal cognitive assessments in rapid succession. Medically, the protocol is to do this ONLY when the patient has scored badly during the first. Why? Because there aren't that many variants of the test, so a patient can remember the questions from test to test and score better every subsequent time, making the assessment meaningless. You ONLY do this when the patient has shown abnormally low cognitive functioning during the first test, such that following the decline is more important than the patient remembering the questions.

So yes, his doctors are lying by omission.

Cognitive function decline speeds up for humans in their 70s and 80s. This is basic human science.

Er, my mom was 84 when she died from leukemia, and she had full control of her mental and physical faculties until her death. In fact, she gave a biochemistry lecture to her doctors (from her hospital bed) the week she died.

A high degree of education is a significant protective factor for dementia. Your mother was educated. Trump is undereducated, innumerate, doesn't read, is incurious, and is just not a bright guy.

Actually no. You cannot fight genetics. Trump's father had dementia, therefore he's at higher risk. If he'd been extremely over-educated, he still wouldn't have been able to fight his genes. What he could have done was staved it off a bit by eating clean and having healthy sleep habits... which he doesn't. So he was always at a very high risk of dementia. And now he HAS dementia!
