Just looking at his family history, I think he’s early stages and that we’re stuck with him for this term. His dad wasn’t dx’d until he was 86 and then died at 93. If he was anything like Trump, he probably was too stubborn to get tested until things went pretty far south. It seems to line up pretty well with how Trump is acting now—just kind of losing more of his filter.
With the MRIs and cognitive tests I suspect Trump was already diagnosed, they are just hiding it from us.
He received 3 Montreal cognitive assessments in rapid succession. Medically, the protocol is to do this ONLY when the patient has scored badly during the first. Why? Because there aren't that many variants of the test, so a patient can remember the questions from test to test and score better every subsequent time, making the assessment meaningless. You ONLY do this when the patient has shown abnormally low cognitive functioning during the first test, such that following the decline is more important than the patient remembering the questions. So yes, his doctors are lying by omission.
Me again. Also, the test is really easy!!! Someone who fails or scores borderline on the MoCA is not fit to work in any position of responsibility.
