Those giant flower headbands on infants are hideous

Please sound off on your feelings about those massive headbands that cover the entire side of an infants head. I LOATHE THEM!

They are loathsome, agreed.

Most of the infants are hideous, as well.

Good morning! Thanks OP for bringing a little ray of sunshine to all of our days. Insulting how babies look is truly a way to make our world a better place. My hat is off to you.

(And no, I don't have a headband wearing baby.)

Actually, all those headbands, of whatever size, are hideous. Babies' heads, on the other hand, are adorable, and smell awesome. So why the stupid headbands?

My infant daughter occasionally sports a giant flower headband (she even has a bright pink one - so ha!).

She doesn't, however, care in the least what any of you think of it. Nor do I.

And to the poster who added: "most of the infants are hideous as well" - I'm fairly sure that my daughter has better manners and judgment than you at 3 months.

Thanks for the wonderful exchange on this Wednesday morning.

What does that have to do with how cute an infant looks? And at 3 months, your baby is no longer and "infant". Just say baby since she is no longer fresh from the womb.

Not the PP you quoted, but: Wrong. Infant covers the first year, newborn the first month.

1) I don't know what that has to do with how cute an infant looks. I was pointing out that it was a totally obnoxious and unecessary comment. Now not only are headbands hideous, but so are the babies who wear them? REALLY? I didn't make the original statement, why don't you ask that poster?

2) The term infant is generally used to refer to BABIES under the age of 1. Newborns are fresh out of the womb. And why do you care how I refer to my kid????

The babies head are cute, why cover them up with some giant fake flower from a craft store that some fool glued to a cheap headband....

Shhhhh! Don't tell Addison's -- or is it Emerson's? -- mom that they're hideous. You'll hurt her feelings.

They remind me of Teresa Guidice from Real Housewives of NJ and how her baby ALWAYS had something on her head. Sometimes fun and cute I think, but not always!

My favorites are the matching baby/mom flower headbands.

These? They're kinda cute, but I've never been a fan of any kind of headband on a baby girl. I actually think these are cuter than those thin ones that moms put on their babies. But yeah... still not a fan, but to each his own! This is not an ugly baby by the way.
