Speaks biggesint recruiting asset was Garret Ince.

He did the lion-share of recruiting in the off-season.

SJC will still remain a good program but they will fall backwards a bit.

DeMatha was up 14-1 at half against Ireton when took out starters. they are scary!!!

WOW! So Cool... Can the all the Bishops please move to the MAC? They still wouldn't compete for a championship, but at least it would stop being a waste of time competitively.

You people really suck. A waste of time? Grow up.

SJC will not be falling backwards any time soon. Wishful thinking. Young talented bench that will get their chance when this year Seniors graduate. Solid 2029 recruiting class. Speaks is a solid coach, a class act and by far the best recruiter in DMV and doesn't rely on legacy to get good players like other programs in the area.

It’s always so entertaining when someone refers to himself in the third person.

It's time for a DC lacrosse league to rival the MIAA

Gonzaga
SJC
Dematha
PVI
Landon
G Prep
Bullis

Maybe Episcopal, Heights, or StA take the 8th spot

Rest of the team play each other in a sub league.

replace PVI with GC

an elite DMV conference would include the following:

A Division
1. Landon
2. GP
3. Bullis
4. Episcopal
5. STA
6. SJC
7. Gonzaga
8. Good Counsel
9. DeMatha
10. PVI

Start a second conference with the following

B Division
1. Saint Stephens (program has really dropped off in the past 3 seasons)
2. Saint Mary's Ryken (thought depending on the year they could play in the upper division)
3. The Heights
4. Saint Andrews
5. Potomac School
6. Ireton
7. DJO
8. Saint James

It's a fun idea, but you'll never get the AD's to buy in. Trying to schedule sports across conferences with multiple teams and classes and field spaces will make their job a nightmare. You've got freshman/jv/varsity/girls/boys lacrosse, baseball/softball and rugby (others?) all trying to be scheduled in a window of mid march to mid-may and you're going to do this in multiple conferences and multiple sports. Perhaps some crazy AI could do it for them. Right now, the AD's can just roll over the schedule year over year with minimal change.

Landon versus Bullis tonight is just a huge match up. Really looking forward to seeing who comes out with this one.

If anyone has a live stream please post. Thank you in advance!

This one imo comes down to the specialists. The fogo's at Landon are really strong. With Bullis fogo out all year I expect Landon to dominate at X , and the Landon midfielders to carry the load.

Bullis elite attacks need the ball so if Landon controls T.O.P, I expect them to win by 2+

Yes, this is just rankings with a different label, bc everything about the logistics mentioned here is spot on. But since there’s no cost to thought pieces, add in a relegation/promotion feature and it gets really fun. Goads the bottom of the upper tier (Episcopal/Heights/StA/PVI/GC) and top of the lower tier (same) into playing out the schedule for more than pride, gives the bottom of the bottom something to shoot for long term, etc etc. Relegation and promotion would be pretty cool.

Bullis star fogo is apparently playing tonight. The last game he played in was the Gonzaga game.

Regardless should be an excellent game and I expect it to be a rather high scoring contest.

Historically PVI is way ahead.

I tend to agree with you in the past 10 years. People forget though about 20 years ago, GC had a strong lacrosse program and would compete with Landon and GP. Falcons never beat Landon or the Hoyas but they would give them some very strong competition 20 years ago.
