It’s so cruel. I believed Adam Serwer 8 years ago (“the cruelty is the point”) but it still stuns me that real people get off on this kind of tone. It’s just pathetic.

It’s also counterproductive. I’m not sure who they think they’re winning over with this approach.

About 30 percent of the US population are ride or die with Trump and Vance. These people are completely unreachable. Murdering young blond American moms is completely fine with them, so it's not even a racial issue. It's a cult of personality. Republicans are kool-aid people. There is no reasoning with Republicans anymore. They are all about the cruelty today. That is the point of the Republican Party today. Dangerous times.

They already have these voters. Well, maybe Vance doesn't, and this was a play to get some of them. But he had a chance to moderate and be the voice of reason. He chose not to.

The cult dies with Trump. I wish him nothing but a massive coronary sooner rather than later.

If you’re gonna protest. Think about what you are doing. How you are doing it and what the possible outcomes might be. I know people will say it’s victim blaming but the only thing we can control is what we do.

So, your solution is to sit back and let moron thugs with guns run the country?

Maybe the forefathers should have got on their knees for the British and their guns.

No I’m saying act with purpose and forethought. Maybe get some protest training. Don’t waste your one valuable life. If you want to be simple cannon fodder go ahead.

And if I get shot just going home?

What then if ICE pulls the trigger.

There is no accountability

Just don't² block traffic intentionally.

The road was not blocked. She was parked horizontally and blocking a lane, but reports I heard was she waved them to go around her in the opposite lane — its a residential street.

According to this woman that lives there she was causing traffic to back up

Not cause for drawing a weapon! Go back to playing video games.

+1 The Republicans in the House have already seen the bodycam footage and voted not to release it.

They are also refusing to share info and cooperate with state and local investigators.
It's a cover-up. They screwed up and they know it and now they are trying to bury it.

But we are all watching.

In the Minnesota Star Tribune, the mother (Donna Ganger) is quoted saying her daughter was “not part of anything like that at all” (referring to anti-ICE protests.

But then, other reports say that Good’s partner was on the sidewalk at the time, to make a cell video of Good driving her Honda Pilot.

Which is true?

Does it matter?

No they were not. My LEO family members are appalled at the behavior exhibited. Totally incompetent!

ICE is not the police. Let's quit insulting police officers. Every police officer I know is horrified by this situation.

So parking illegally is now a capital offense?

Blocking traffic...

Omg then why doesn’t ICE shoot Uber drivers in DC? They block traffic all the time. Yes we could in theory go around but hey just shoot them!

Is it at all relevant to you that ICE told her to get out of the cat & she drove towards an ICE agent? Apparently not.

He walked in front of her car while it was in gear. Now I'm seeing reports he was hit and dragged in another incident last year. Perhaps he needs to go to safety school with elementary school children so he can learn how to avoid getting hit by cars.

Apparently she was dropping her son off at school and trying to make a U-turn to go back home. You all know that drop off can be chaotic. Maybe the wife walked the boy into the building while Good waited in the car.

Either way, the Trump Admin’s response to this is full-on fascist. They are basically saying: we will kill anyone in our way, and we will defend the killers and smear the killed

I think there should be a billboard prominently displayed, with trumps picture and slogan, that ominously counts the murders and deaths that were caused by his commands, direction, threats and policies. The counter should tick with each death.

There was commotion on the street. Stuff was already happening. Why would she not film these thugs?

There was commotion in the street, so she thought “excellent time to pull a u-turn in the middle of an icy road, and have my wife film it.”
Is that what you’re going with?

I hate to say it, but the cult will not die. The same stupidity that caused them for fall for Trump will not go away, it will just go dormant.

It needs to be destroyed, cell by cell, like the cancer that it is. If we don’t want “the south to rise again” we need to destroy the farms and salt the earth.

I didn't think it was her wife that filmed it. Where are you seeing that?

Nope. FBI, Capitol Police, and every other agency goes through rigorous training. ICE is just Trump's Gestapo and thug private police.

Google the story how they were rushed through the ICE "background" checks and they found out after they started working that many were criminals. That does not happen with real federal law enforcement agents.

Of course. That's why I said they are not LEOs. They are just Trump's paid thugs.

Here's information about Jonathan Ross's previous interaction with a vehicle:

Mr. Ross and other agents were trying to apprehend a Guatemalan man who had been convicted of sexual abuse in Minnesota, according to court records. The agents followed the man, Roberto Carlos Munoz, as he drove away from his house, and later pulled him over.

When Mr. Ross told the driver to lower his window and open his door, Mr. Munoz refused, an F.B.I. agent wrote in an affidavit. Mr. Ross then pulled his Taser, shattered the rear driver’s side window of Mr. Munoz’s car and reached in with one arm to try to unlock a door. At that point, Mr. Munoz shifted into drive and pulled away.

While being dragged, Mr. Ross fired his Taser at Mr. Munoz, electrocuting him twice, the affidavit said, but Mr. Munoz continued to drive for about 100 yards, weaving back and forth in an apparent effort to shake the agent from the car, which he finally did.

Photos from court records show the officer who shot Renee Good on Wednesday reaching into the window of a car in June, attempting to unlock the door before the driver pulled away, dragging him.

Do state troopers put their arms through windows to try to grab people out of their cars? That seems like an incredibly stupid thing to do. ICE needs to stop doing this.
