This board seems oddly tilted towards he must be innocent, more so than other sites. Curious if it’s a boy mom thing or a few trolls. As a mom of girls, waiting until LE says he had nothing to do with it. Even if he did not start the trek to the beach intending to harm her, when that drunk and probably twice her weight, could have gone south if she rebuffed him. Time may tell.

On the path she seemed to be pulling away from him.

Do you know the source of that new video? Was it another angle from resort security, or someone's phone or a stranger's device?

Her friends were there in the other video where they were walking to beach from hotel. As of now, no reports made public about what her friends knew of her condition at that moment or before leaving hotel. If she vomited then, yea, they could have taken her back to her room. But we don't know what conversations and consents took place before and on that walk from hotel to beach.

I wish she had used better judgement. I wish the friends had been actual friends and used better judgement. I wish the boys had used better judgement, and especially wish they knew better than to hang out with drunk girls unsupervised. I wish we had video from the bar.

Many posts here and many questions asked. The posts more of a 'there are various possibilities' among the armchair detectives. The demographics of posters here could be different than other sites but we don't know which other sites you are talking about.

That's not how it works. Vomiting indicates serious overconsumption of alcohol. You're not magically better because you throw up. You're still really, really drunk. The alcohol remains in the bloodstream and needs to be processed by the liver, which takes time. You've just expelled some of the toxins so you feel less sick.

Given that they were both videotaped vomiting, neither one was functional. I'm surprised anyone can think he was functional enough to be some dastardly mastermind in that state.

The whole point of spring break vacations at these places is to have unlimited low quality booze on the beach. That is why people go to these places. That is their idea of fun.

Unusual circumstances, I think, with the power outage. Too hot in the rooms so they amused themselves by drinking at the bar for many hours.

It looks like both parties were drinking all night long until 4am, both puked right outside the bar around the same time and neither could really stand or walk. I also read they barely knew each other, like maybe for an hour (if that) and met at that bar that night in the AM hours.

Both seemed black out, pi$$ poor drunk. I don’t think he could even know which way was up much less get it u% or assault anything. Like a person who wants to fight, punches the air and falls flat on their face.

She drowned and floated away. She was probably so drunk, she may have swallowed too much water, started getting sick again, fell down, was washed out. The fault IMO lies with the resort. Why is a bar open at 5am serving alcohol? or 4am? Why are people throwing up in the bar and then still being served?!

Think crazy stuff can’t happen in the US? What about that girl at LSU? Drunk out of her mind, left with people she didn’t know, assaulted in a car, got out and run over by another car.
