Heard the game was rescheduled due to the weather. [/quote

Has it been rescheduled to a different day or just moved up to an earlier start time?

Not today, likely 4/28 at Madison. Not sure if that date/location is finalized.

The comments about WS's coach are uncalled for as I learned this BP coach resigned on the day they started tryouts in February. When all of our girls were practicing to get ready for the season, I learned they had little. Their new coach has been thrown to the wolves and we are acting like children, not adults. Clearly our team out performed them given we were in 1st place last year in the state. Our team beat Woodson 20 to 4 and Robinson 14 to 4. Both of these teams have had decent programs in the past, but we fail to remember teams cycle through. What I am embarrassed about most are these numbers our girls are scoring. It says nothing about sportsmanship when you beat down other schools. No mercy rule like other sports, just beat them down. The girl who was hit in the head...we need to look at the video as do the refs to see how long it took the ref to call it. I have learned I need to sit away from other parents at games because I know some of this behavior is not appropriate. WS may not have our talent, but they never gave up and they fought back for everything. So, before we make comments about other teams, we need to act like adults and not bullies. A little research was a wake up call and my apologies to the coach for the inappropriate comments.

Anyone know why BP quit WS on the day of tryouts?

Been discussed already on this thread. Health issues

Responding to: WS Coach needs to teach her players not to cross check players in the ribs out of retaliation, repetitively! Bring BP back he coaches with class.

WS was a dirty team in a physical game that the refs did a poor job both ways of calling. They were cross checking and swinging sticks all night. I'm glad our girls came out okay. Their coach was high fiving and fist bumping girls for hard checks and yelling for them to attack our girls with the ball. It was clear they were outclassed, as they didn't have the speed to win draws out on the circle, couldn't score after halftime, and their goalie had only like 2 saves after the 1st quarter and was overmatched, hopping over low shots and dropping down on high shots like she was trying not to get hit. YT was up double digits in the 4th and Coach T had the bench in just trying to run it out and the WS coach still had her starters in cross checking and chasing our girls around. YOU'RE NOT GOING TO WIN THE GAME AT THAT POINT. We felt bad for the girls on their bench that never got in cause they have such a nasty coach. It's Public HS lacrosse for chrissake. Not sure what she was trying to prove, but it is clear she is taking that program down the toilet with her approach. It's sad cause they used to be a credible program under BP. high school lax needs a mercy rule like in field hockey. Maybe 15 goal differential? Or crazy as it sounds - limit the number of goals any one player can score. Too many POY-wannabes racking up stats, and we wonder why the game is shrinking. I read some girl last year scored 12 goals in one game against weak opponent. Her daddy must have been proud, so I assumed the burden of being embarrassed for them, their HC, AD, and their school.

What games are on this weekend and next week?
Are there any VA publics playing in Spring Break tournaments? Does SSSA host their Spring Fling tomorrow? Are any NOVA Public schools playing in it?

There is no way you are a current YT mom. If you live in Arlington and your daughter either used to or does attend YT - you are grinding a very large axe.

Langley won’t win a game

Looks like both Oakton and Madison have games next week?

Madison takes on STAB in what will be a tough test for them.

Oakton looks to head to SC in what should be a winnable game if the beach doesn't get in the way.

Battlefield needs to get invited to the St Stephen’s Spring Play date in the next couple of years. That will be a great measure for how good they really will be. Also should work harder to schedule the good private schools for out of conference games.

Would love to see a series between Battlfield and STAB or Western Ablemarle to see who is the best out west…
