That’s not awfully interesting. 84 is a great age, but not a “milestone” birthday. A dinner at my house is exactly how I expect my own parents would hope to celebrate.

It’s interesting in that if it was planned as a celebration, given her recent birthday, that there were no other guests or witnesses to the dinner. Did she actually make it to the dinner? Was there a dinner?

The uber driver may have picked up a woman, but was it the mother?

They had dinner and played mahjongg. Its not that deep. Don't you do things like this with your family?

If no one else saw it happen, did it actually happen?

Do you have local family? I think people who don't think get togethers need to be huge/momentous. We have annual birthday celebrations with my local MIL where no friends are invited! Not everything has to be a huge party. We just had one last week where we went do dinner then came back for cake. She had lunch separately with her friends. Not "interesting" at all- you are really trying to twist this into something nefarious.

Seeing as how this is relatively unprecedented to have an 84yo kidnapped, the main opportunities for her falling victim are what she was doing up to 2am.

Not inviting other 80yo to dinner is not a red flag.

It quite literally doesn't matter. This means nothing.

Everything means something in a case like this. Everything has to be examined or serves a purpose for the police, fbi, etc..

If they’re innocent, I hope Annie and her husband sue the hell out of every reporter claiming they’re guilty, especially Banfield. And shame on everyone claiming they’re guilty based on looks.

What is Occam's razor for this situation?

For those not familiar:

Occam’s razor in crime, or the principle of parsimony, dictates that the simplest explanation requiring the fewest assumptions is usually the most likely to be correct. When investigating, it favors common sense and directly verifiable evidence over complex conspiracies or convoluted theorieS.

You cant use for reporting on what a source tells you. Ashleigh is a clickbait reporter but she'll get no repercussions.

We did the exact same thing for my mother in law’s birthday. We had food and cake at my house. No guests, especially since it wasn’t a milestone birthday. This is how most old people celebrate, even ones who have lots of friends. A lot of them don’t want fuss or to make their friends go out.

Savannah has enough sway in the industry and connections to get her cancelled though.

+1

And it may not have even been a celebration. We get together once a month for dinner/games with our local MIL who lives alone (by CHOICE!)

I’m not familiar with Tucson and can’t find much online—what animals can drag away a person? Mountain lion? Pack of wild dogs or feral hogs (pack animals are scary)?

Maybe SG thinks she's on to something.

Africanized Honey Bees may have swarmed her, and levitated her "light as a feather, stiff as aboard".
