Taylor's Feb Rec for Crown Boundary Study

That wasn't all of it, there were a bunch of different claims against it, including allegations that the use of FARMS was an illegal use of a race based criteria, that the Policy FAA change in language was done without public feedback, breach of the open meetings law, and that the decision was arbitrary because it was not determined based on sound educational policy.

As an example of the challenge that a lawsuit has:
"For decisions of the local board involving a local policy, the local board’s decision is considered prima facie correct, and the State Board may not substitute its judgment for that of the local board unless the decision is arbitrary, unreasonable, or illegal. COMAR 13A.01.05.06A"

A lawsuit will make political support for Option H evaporate No politician will want to support it if the facts show the recommendation was pre-determined and community engagement was a sham.

Too little, too late. Move or move on-the choice is yours.

Nope. Right on time. As soon as the BOE votes.

What are you afraid of?

There’s no case. The entire potential lawsuit is based on a false premise.

Pretty sure we’ve covered this ground already but I’ll repeat myself: we are afraid of wasting more taxpayer money and time for MCPS staff when these valuable resources could be spent on things that can actually move us forward not keep us stuck in your weird conspiracy theories. We are worried you’ll continue to create divides in communities and model monster mentalities for our (and your) children.

People saying just be transparent, show us the real data, yada yada yada are giving the vibe of people who do their own 💉 research. No data will be enough for them to get on board and get over their conspiracy theories. Their kids are the ones who will suffer.

You can thank MCPS for everything you fear. MCPS created this mess but expects students and their families to clean it up.

CEPA CONTRIBUTORS: You’re being lied to. They know they have no legal leg to stand on-all they’re doing is connecting meaningless dots between emails they’ve FOIAed and “BOE behaviors”. This is conspiracy that forwards their narrative, not facts that anyone would believe beyond being a good story. Save your money and move to Churchill or Whitman. This isn’t worth your time.

Not a fan of them either but they’re committing to it being done and all of us moving on in one week. You are not. Also, it’s actually NOT your job to clean it up. No one has asked you to do that-you’ve self appointed. Let it be messy. It’s really ok, ppl live in messy townhouses all the time.

Yep! We chat often. You’ve probably seen all my emails with him. Maybe even the one dated 11/30/25 where I wrote to him that I had this brilliant idea on how we could stir up some trouble by CLOSING WOOTTON. You got that one right?

Unreal, man…

Because I think you might really believe this, I want to be clear this is obviously a joke. My brain told me this because it has more than 3 cells (albeit not many more after reading these threads, I’ll be honest).

You want to talk dividing communities? Lol! Dividing communities is a white woman coming to the board of education candidate forum tonight just to yell at everyone—including many who are parents of color—about how racist they are. Dividing communities is also this same person continuing to scream at individual parents after the forum concluded.

Keep it classy folks!

I have no idea what you’re talking about or why you’re talking about it. But based on what went on on Tuesday, I have a suspicion she might be onto something.

Talking about tonight’s meeting at Wootton: the BOE candidates forum, which was very peaceful until… it wasn’t.

Nothing like a white lady making a broad sweeping generalization of everyone in a room and calling them racist.

The irony is…wow.

Pretty sure she continued her tirade afterwards and kept yelling at a group of Asian women about how they are all racist?

What do you call someone who loudly generalizes about a group of Asian women and label all of them as racists without knowing them individually….

I think the word I’m looking for starts with R and ends with ism. I’m sure the word will come to me…
