Keep saying it. Gonzaga will win the ship. They are grinders. The other teams have IG attention seekers.

St. Ignatius CA @ Georgetown Prep.
SI beat the CA team GP beat last week. GP -3

Potomac @ St. Albans.
STA should get a rebound. STA -4

Gonzaga @ Paul VI.
They had a rivalry effort now they need a pride game. PVI -4

St. John’s @ DeMatha.

Urbana @ Bullis.
The Public will be pumped. Bullis -3

St. Stephens @ Collegiate.

Flint Hill @ Episcopal.
A win against the MAAC

Big Week for PVI. Will they be able to beat both GZ and SJC in the same week?

I think they pull it off. GZ by 4+ and SJC by 2

This didn't age well. Guessing PVI goes 0-2 after watching Gonzaga look very average against Landon.

I get that you are a Gonzaga homer, but did you see the Landon game. Landon is a fine team, but that was a walkover in the second half. Didn't see a lot of grinding.

GZ wins outright and SJC covered the spread. This is why Vegas always wins. PVI thoughtbit was May and time to fold. No idea what’s up DM

Easy win for Bullis

Great comeback by Prep in 4th. Penalty at end killed them.

PVI could go 0-3 this stretch but then regroup for the playoffs. Tons of value in playing the good teams.

Impressive parity among top tier this season!

Seems like any matchup among PVI, GP, Bullis, Landon, GZ, SJC could result in an OT game.

However, SJC is still a bit of an unknown due to limited local games. We'll know more in the next week with PVI and GZ on deck.

Prep looked asleep in the first half. Hoyas continue to play inconsistent lacrosse. St Ignatius squads have always been well coached and very athletic so I doubt the Hoyas were looking past them.

After GZ's huge OT win over PVI last night, I really believe the margins between the top 1 - 7 teams in the area are small. Here is how I see it below.

1. SJC
2. Landon
3. Bullis
4. Prep
5. PVI
6. GZ
7. Good Counsel

Based on results thus far, on any given afternoon, these teams can beat one another. Not one team has demonstrated they can plan consistent lacrosse and not one team has blown the breaks off the door when playing against one of the teams above.

Good to have some parity in the DMV vs having 1 - 2 elite programs.

PVI vs SJC on Friday will be a battle!

SJC 15-2. Not a needle mover

SSSAS ugh 6-12

Flint Hill @ Episcopal.
EP 19-3

Wednesday Games

Moeller OH @ Landon.
The Bears are very small physically and have not handled a bullying style this year. The game will be closer than the records indicate.

Good Counsel @ Sante Fe Christian.
Should be a walkover for GC before Torrey Pines.

The bears while small physically punch well above their weight.

See the culver contest, culver was much bigger physically and it was a one goal game for most of the contest.

Gonzaga was much bigger physically against Landon but the Bears were simply better and more athletic.

I don’t think Moeller is particularly that strong but I’m sure they will be very athletic (assuming their football kids play lacrosse)

The Good Counsel vs Torrey Pines game will be an awesome matchup later this week.
