Why do you think the GOP deserves more rights in the House now than the Dems had two years ago? Maybe if Paul Ryan had run a more open House of Representatives, this would be a valid argument, but see the problem? Ryan set the standard on this one, and Newt before in 1998.

Meadows invited George Papadopoulos to testify before the Committee without first sharing the emails that would show he wasn’t telling the truth first. Those documents STILL haven't been made available.

It actually is a subpoena, legally authorized by the Congress of the United States and fully enforcaeble under the US Constitution.

"We want to impeach Trump. We know he committed some infraction that we will articulate later. We have a whistleblower that has said he did something (shhh.... we have known about him for some time now, but we want the public to think we found out about him when they did). But we are not going to take a vote to move forward (shhh.... we don't want our red-state Democrats to go on record with a vote and we don't want to give the Republicans in the House any authority during this process). We are going to make the rules. With no input from the Republicans. And, we are going to conduct all interviews, depositions, and hearings behind closed doors. And, we really want you, the public, to get on board with our impeachment so we only want you to have the information that we leak (because God forbid, we should release any information beneficial to Trump). TRUMP ADMITTED THAT HE ASKED A FOREIGN GOVT TO INVESTIGATE HIS OPPONENT. HE WITHHELD ALREADY APPROVED AID FOR THAT COUNTRY UNTIL THEY PROVIDED RESULTS TO HIM.

THEN HE ASKED ANOTHER COUNTRY TO INVESTIGATE HIS OPPONENT ON TV IN FRONT OF THE WHOLE WORLD.
