DA vs ECNL vs everything else

Aww, think you are in charge, do you?

The PP kept insisting on his/her DD being ECNL. So it's either McLean, BYRC, or perhaps Loudon. There is no DA fight. There is ONE single poster who clearly has borderline personality disorder and keeps saying scum, garbage, spirit this or that, and other similar name calling. So what are we all to think? And if the DD is ECNL, why is this poster obsessed with DA offers?

When that poster - who clearly has NO point - shuts up, the rest of us will be thrilled to see this board no longer littered with such meaningless crap.

as I said before, panties all in a ruffle

^^^^^

Still no point.

If FCV players need to know where they stand, call the coach. Gus, Dax and Eric will be happy to yell how bad she is over the phone too. They are always looking for an opportunity to break the player down.

What ....You don't like a classless shill connected to Spirit telling parents lies about offers and bashing Mclean?

FCV has a player pool. They always know pretty much where there kids are coming from. I assume Arlington DA will be the same way.So to answer your question.

FCV has been giving out offers to their current rosters on a rolling basis. Read into that what you will.

FCV 05 roster, from what I understand, is pretty much set. Don't know about their 06
....................................................................
In reference to the Mclean supporter. Stop being so overly protective. Mclean Soccer Inc. is a business designed to make money. They are not Holy than thou. Younger Mclean (and some older) are leaving the ECNL program for the local DA's. Some kids seen at FCV and Spirit...Some snooping at Arlington. Mclean is situated in the middle of all three DA's. So there will be a natural draw there.
..........................................................................
VDA:
Don't know too much. However, heard the 03 group and some of the 04 group rather play DA over ECNL.
............................................................................
Loudoun:
Loudoun ECNL will be EDP / Region 1 league AT BEST. They are bleeding their talent to the local DA's. Your can arguing with that all you want, but its true. Some kids with talent may stay behind, but not enough to field competitive teams.
..............................................................................
BRYC
Always had a lot of respect for the club. Don't know what there player pool is doing in reference to ECNL or DA. However, their 04's and below are not as strong as they should be for having a dedicated player pool. Tells me talent is spread in that region.
...............................................................................
Spirit:
People looking to join from all over because they are the only club without a dedicated player pool. Everyone has a shot to impress the coaches without prior bias. However, unless they can draw the talent from somewhere, they will be forced to put kids on their rosters that are not currently at the DA level. They are the one club that must truly cast a big net. The one thing they have going for them is that the parents seem to enjoy the program.
............................................................................
Arlington:
Arlington will be Arlington. Not getting too much from the outside. Just my opinion. Not from that side of town.

Please state once and for all what the classless lies are shutup. It is almost May and the issue is moot now anyway.

I am not an expert on the local scene but the above is the most accurate summary based on my observations and conversations with coaches.

The DA is on it’s heels after just one year. Top clubs giving up the DA to focus on the ECNL, merger clubs splitting, the DA was already watered down, heck one club out west can’t even field a team at any age group and has had to forfeit every game.

Still more dual clubs set to announce the death of their DA agreement to focus on the ECNL. USSF had their chance to work with the ECNL, but between ignorance and greed they missed that boat. The ones I feel bad for are the girls.

And do you know what the dual clubs are planning to do with their former DA and current ECNL teams? They will have two ECNL teams. Good luck knowing if you are playing a A or B ECNL team. Nice that the biggest clubs will contribute to the watering down of your league. Lol

I'm not here to argue with any of you ECNL supporters. I'm telling you what's going on through my own eyes. If you are see something else let me know. But in Northern Virginia, which is the ECNL talent base for the MA division, younger kids are choosing DA over ECNL. Mclean ECNL is losing players at younger age groups. LOUDOUN ECNL has no talent base left.

On another note...PDA is full of BS. They should drop boys DA if they truly believe in what they are saying. But they don't and they won't. So what does that tell you...and don't arguing that girls are different and want different things...BS.

I hope someone can come up with something similar to this on boys side.
