Josh was the one who confessed, crying. Each time. It is clearly laid out in the more recent police report.

I feel really sorry for the victims AND Josh. He clearly needed counseling to deal with his sexual issues. Growing up in such a repressed society with his main female interactions being with his sisters is not healthy for a teen boy.

I hope, as an adult, he's been able to change his ways. And I pray that his sisters don't suffer any lasting effects from the violations.

I was (tried to be) touched inappropriately by my brother when I was in 5th grade, I told my parents right after , like the Duggars they tried to hide it and excused his behaviour. I know now he is not a pedophile however that incident and my parents scurring to say it was normal but won't happen again was LOUSY. SO mentally, yes, it affected me a LOT. I'm ok with my brother but as adults we were close because we were family vs really being close.

Only half through. I think Megyn Kelly did a very good job of running through all the facts of the case before even getting to the interview - no sugar coating.

Actually I have been a very vocal opponent of the Duggars and this is one of only a handful of times I've watched fox news. I was just posting what I observed.

Yes, Michelle had notes in her hand, but she still messed their story up. A lot of what they said is contradicted by the contemporaneous police reports.

Here's what I think happened. The police report was forwarded to the Arkansas Child Protection agency. The agency launched an investigation (which is sealed) and a case against Josh for molestation (also sealed.) The agency *required* the parents to bring the children in for professional counseling (this is the counseling JB and Michelle said they sought for their children in the interview). This is totally standard for molestation cases.

Eventually Josh (and his parents of course) appealed the Child Protection case, requesting that the restrictions on the family (including counseling) be lifted as they had complied with all the requirements. That is the sealed case that reporter found captioned Josh Duggar v. Child Protection.

Ew. How do you know he isn't a pedophile? Or just a creep? Close family? Your parents should never have that thing in your in your presence unless he was a 2ish aged child which I doubt- they owe you an apology. I was molested as a child.
