Everything CW has said over the last 12 months has been patently false. No need to even bring up his 30 year track record of false promised and unrealized dreams Merger with Varkey to be completed by May '21 - FALSE Hundreds of millions within 2-3 week grasp (communicated mid-Dec '21) - FALSE Bridge financing to be finalized either later tonight or by 5pm tomorrow (Feb 9, '22) - FALSE Drip, drip, drip, drip. And yet his inner circle cult members and some doe eyed optimists refuse to see what's in plain sight and want to go so far as to make poor CW the victim who has sacrificed so much. Nauseating indeed |

Hilarious! Even the head of school manny-is one of the people that have worked with Chris for over 10 years and sees no wrong
|
Highlight of my day! He said Chris gave up his home; last time I checked he was FORCED out of his hamptons house because of unpaid bills. He did not give it up
|
| We all know the divorce was a cover up to push his money to his wife and kids! Why doesn’t he ask his inner circle for some donations or even is loaded wife! |
| Can't other schools take these kids in? Its so awful. |
| I cannot believe they are asking families for even more money just to meet payroll for teachers (well, actually I can). This is unbelievable. It is not worth it to sink additional funds into the school at this point! There’s no way they can make it to the end of this academic year. I hope families have exit plans lined up and can jump ship. How many students are in the 2022 graduating class right now? |
This. The students trying to just hang in until June need to let go of that plan. |
Brainwashed. He lost his damn Hamptons house because the people at Avenues read the writing on the wall and realized that they were in for something exactly like this mess if they didn't drive Whittle out of management....and were lucky enough to have one of their deep-pockets investors who helped them oust him.........at the cost of that school -- Yes, children! == lending him $10 million for his personal needs, he said. ..... And when, after six years, he still hadn't paid this "loan" from chidlren's education funds back, Avenues managed to get the courts to force him to sell his fancy Hamptons house to repay it...... He didn't sacrifice that mansion for anybody's sake, He lost it because another school lend him $10 million for his personal needs and then he didn't pay that school -- i.e., kids back. Also in the interim he seems to have broken the non-compete agreement they entered with him, which required him not to start a new school on the same plan for, I think, three years -- or 2018. By that time he'd been doing so much selling of a similar school that he was bragging variously about having raised between $700 million and $1billion for it. This tale of saintly sacrifice is just like the Covid-ruined-me shit he's continually peddled -- and sold -- he is one helluva salesman....when the PPP loans he got in fact probably saved his ass for some time. |
This^^ not just rich but wealthy. |
| Wife sits on the board at Atlantic College where the IB was founded. No wonder they got certification so quickly. |
I think they are trying to hold on until March 4, when they are accepted to other privates for next year and maybe can see if they can start immediately. |
| I attended the MS basketball game this week Burke vs. Whittle. Game was at Whittle’s gym. It was really difficult to watch the games. For instance, Whittle’s girls team only had five players (Burke, which is a small school, had 14 players). These Whittle girls had to play the entire game, winded and red faced. Working as hard as they can to compete for their school. The students are innocent in this whole thing. They are trying hard to have a normal MS life. It is very hard to believe that anyone who cares about education and kids could watch those girls try so hard for their team and not feel like an absolute monster. |
| I think finally parents are starting to wake up. Looks like they are finally getting out of this sinking ship. |

An update from Cwis Little
Greetings on this Friday evening (early Saturday morning in Scotland, where I am momentarily detained as the airline seems to be under the misapprehension that the credit card used to book my fare was stolen..). I understand that some of you were taken aback by the announcement from the PCSC this afternoon that, due to the highly unexpected delay in our bridge financing, we are asking the parent body to make a modest donation to the teacher salary fund. I am DELIGHTED to inform you that I have a solution to allay your concerns and minimize the amount of your contribution! During my stay at Loch Ness, I have had the pleasure of becoming acquainted with a charming lady from Switzerland, Frau Dulent-Lee, who is HIGHLY SKILLED in capital matters with prior experience as a TOP portfolio manager at Madeoff Securities and more recently as a leader in the fundraising department at Teranoz. Her and her team have taken a CRASH COURSE in understanding our VISION and they are highly supportive of our planned European expansion and also our FLAGSHIP campus in Washington. As a token of their SERIOUS COMMITMENT, they have generously agreed to match any donations from the parent body for the interim teacher salary bridge financing on a dollar for dollar basis. For ease of recordkeeping, they have asked that parents wire them funds directly so they can then send the school the full quantum, including their match. Details regarding the bank facility are below: Beneficiary: Frau Dulent-Lee Bank: Grifti Bank (Caymans Branch) Account No: 666-666 Routing code: SCAM101 I can assure you that Frau Dulent-Lee has ENTHUSIASTICALLY reaffirmed her capital commitment multiple times in the last few hours and I am HIGHLY confident that this association will provide our current campus and our future GLOBAL network with the capital required to fulfill our vision. I understand that many of you are weary from the uncertainties of the past few months but I THANK YOU for your unwavering support and belief in our shared vision. CL |
