My kids are now both in college…just wondering if FCPS will be resuming these meetings.

Needless to say, if schools are deciding factors for the election, the timing looks good for Youngkin.

We've already had ours. Nice attempt at trolling though

Huh? Not a troll. But definitely a Virginia voter. Thanks.

So you're concerned that conferences that your kids had a decade ago or more would be cancelled, despite any evidence that they have been or will be? Sure

No, I’m wondering if FCPS will be welcoming parents into the school buildings this year (giving COVID concerns). My days of parent teacher conferences are over, but I’m still paying Fairfax County taxes and interested in school issues.

You’re concerned if FCPS still has parent-teacher conferences? For real?

Yes, they even happened last year during distance learning. ??

Assuming that your serious, parents are in the buildings as much as ever. They can't be in the classrooms, but there are tons of lunch monitors especially with outdoor eating

Why not in classrooms? No more parent volunteers?

I was not sure that Youngkin could win over enough independents campaigning against CRT and vaccine mandates but apparently it is resonating with the rest of Virginia. I was in Charlottesville area and there were a lot of Youngkin signs and barely any McAuliffe ones.

If you have not been following the race or were thinking you will skip voting, please consider voting. It's not just the gubernatorial race but school board and local office races are important this year since localities have oodles of Covid relief funds to spend.

There are no local offices on the ballot

Here's where you can find candidates for statewide and local positions and referendums for the Commonwealth's November 2, 2021 election.

Thanks for sharing. Very interesting to see which counties are NOT having any local elections. I wonder if this will have a significant impact on turnout.

Not sure if McAuliffe is scared of the new polling, but I have received 7 texts so far today urging me to vote for him.

Trump is the other guy's inspiration, it seems fair. Or does Youngkin no longer support Trump now that he's the nominee?

+1

He hitched himself to Trump train so obviously Trump is relevant.

Of course, in Southern Virginia Trump is very relevant.

Youngkin surrogate is knee-deep in Trump's election lies and conspiracy theories and claims that Virginia Democrats are plotting to steal the election right now.

This is what you vote for when you vote for Youngkin and any Republican.

Yes, Youngkin knows he is losing. So he is going more towards Trump in desperation. It's pathetic.

Is the Trump-obsessed poster aware that McAuliffe accepted a $25,000 donation in 2009 from —gasp— Trump? So, both governor candidates are tied to Trump.

And many political pundits say Hampton Roads could be the deciding factor in this upcoming election.

Youngkin 1000 % supports Trumpism

He just said point blank the election was filled with fraud.

That means he supports the big lie

Who the h votes for the guy who is trying to undermine Democracy?

Cutting taxes and services appeals to old time republicans

Youngkin is winning over voters based on school-related issues (in my local area).

Every time FCPS mentions equity, its another bump for Youngkin

Every time posters trash equity, I remember the history of racism in Virginia.

Youngkin called for an audit of voting machines to help voters feel confident in elections, despite saying at the first gubernatorial debate last month against Democratic candidate Terry McAuliffe that he did not believe there had been significant voter fraud in Virginia elections.

Youngkin voters thanks for costing taxpayers millions of dollars for sham audits to give your private info to criminals
