Since it’s in the DR / outside the US, can the FBI use those enhanced interrogation techniques on him until he talks? |
yes. ALL THE TIME. Drunk driving, alcohol poisoning, drowning while drunk, wandering into traffic while drunk. Are you not from the United States? |
Data from those ALL the time incidents? |
He's not accused of a crime and there is zero evidence a crime was committed by anyone at any point that night. His story matches the evidence. Why is it so hard for people to accept that this poor girl got drunk and foolishly drowned? There is zero other plausible explanation for her disappearance. |
So far it's been -hero story? -didnt see because passed out? any others? |
Again, are you from this country? There are news stories all the time about kids driving drunk, killing their friends, killing themselves with alcohol poisoning, drowning while drunk, etc. If you must have data, dig it up yourself. The rest of us have common sense. |
I don't think his story really keeps changing. He was very drunk. Everything is a little blurry. He vaguely remembers kissing her, going into the water, being knocked over, trying to help her, going and puking and falling asleep but exactly how or what or when or specific details - are a blur. He probably has bits of memory but it isn't a clear picture given all the alcohol he had on board. |
His story didn't change. He was completely wasted and blacked out. Remembers bits and pieces of the night, as anyone familar with being black out, puking drunk, can understand. That's what happens to your memory when you are sht-faced drunk. And, sadly, sometimes you drown in the ocean. |
I agree. Parents want to blame someone not their daughter. |
Do bots bump up topics on this site? I can't imagine actual humans are so obtuse. They just want to keep harping on this poor drunk college guy and accusing him of mysterious crimes that they have no evidence of. |
There may or may not be. Not everything gets reported. if there's nothing, why are LE allegedly with him? |
Yeah I agree and since they just met its not weird that she would have left and gone to her room. They werent a couple, hadn't spent any meaningful time together. |
I'm just weird with the fact that he said she was OUT of the water when he was puking. Where did she go then? I can't imagine she would have gone back to the water after him saving them both. Thats the part that doesn't add up. |
No one has harped up the young man it seems. People are asking of the possibilities. It is a little confusing to keep up with various posts, reasons and questions on the thread. |
I've wondered this too. Or it's an overzealous mom of a daughter she cannot imagine doing anything wrong or exercising any poor judgment. |
