Schools too. |
That makes zero sense. So the virus will suddenly start killing younger people in huge numbers? |
As it what? There are still lots of old people around. Also, that's not how viruses work. |
Under current conditions. Day camps can open June 29. https://www.nbcconnecticut.com/news/coronavirus/coronavirus-in-ct-summer-camps-can-open-june-29-but-not-overnight-camps/2269441/ |
Did you see the NY antibody study? Maybe the virus is running low on older victims in NYC but it’s barely made a dent upstate, so I suspect that’s similar elsewhere. |
You do realize there may NEVER be a vaccine. So what do you think we should do if in another hear we still don't have one? Continue to be shut down? |
Parks are open. Lots of nonessential stores are open too. You can go buy whatever you want at Target because Target sells groceries. |
No, the question is - how are camps required to operate, when they open? |
Read the article. Some MoCo camps are aiming for July 6 also. I just got an email from one, in fact. The Office of Early Childhood says summer camps can open on June 29 in the state with specific guidance in place. That guidance includes enhanced health screening, limiting group size to no more than 10 children with the camp needing permission to serve more than 30, for employees to wear cloth face masks, to implement hand and respiratory hygiene, develop protocols for intensified cleaning and disinfection, and to implement social distancing strategies. |
Sounds like the summer camps in Connecticut are going to have room for many fewer children than planned, then. |
huh? you dont sound too bright. That's not how viruses work. And 1 person dying is called an anecdote. The data is overwhelming that this is not fatal or serious for most younger people. |
I doubt Elrich and Gayles will let camps open in MoCo on July 6. |
Ha wow. Yeah, not happening. You guys really need to come to reality. A vaccine may never be effective. We cannot wait for a hope like that. |
Scientific literacy in the country is abysmal. At least the bolded statement made me laugh. |
Yeah, DH and I cracked up at that. |
