Is that the all time list for Gonzaga, or just this year? Let’s be serious, Gonzaga’s not known for their academics.

It's definitely a multi-year list. Gonzaga college placement is nowhere near that good.

Sorry to disappoint all you haters, but this is a 2020 list - obviously not all of them, but still.

Clemson is way below most of these schools

Not in football it isn’t. In football it is above them all.

The fake-braggart GDS troll has evidently recovered from his case of Covid-19 (or is done with college finals) and is back. Lucky us.

I would choose UM over Duke.

Depends what your majoring in.

True. If you are majoring in football, armed covid protestin’ or moose huntin’ — then it’s definitely Michigan.

Could make the same about stereotypes around basketball, racial disparities and homophobic attitudes in north carolina

So, based on the Instagram posts, most of the upper-tier admissions were for sports:

Harvard: Lacrosse
WashU: Track
Penn: Crew
Penn: Football
Navy: Crew
Navy: Football
Navy: Lacrosse
Hopkins: Track
Wake: Football
Georgetown: Baseball
Georgetown: Swimming

If you take sports out, you have 2 Ivy admits, 1 Dartmouth and 1 Cornell, and 1 Duke admit. EVERY public school in Fairfax would beat those numbers, even adjusted for size.

You don't need to adjust anything. Those kids are still going to the schools based on their skills (in this case, sports), which is just as valid as getting admitted based on your math/writing/debate/etc skills. Last I checked, their diplomas will all look the same.

I get it that most of us are cooped up at home and what not, right now, but that is damned creepy that you did this.

Congratulations to all involved, except for the creepy parent that stalked a bunch of high schoolers on Instagram.

Very creepy. Scouring IG to suss out sports admits is next level creepy.
My son attended a top school to play football and someone on here actually took the time to try to figure out his name. They were wrong but it was super creepy that an adult would try to figure out my kid's name and high school. He's graduated a few years ago, but it struck me as weird that someone would try to 'out' a kid on this board. I don't think I was oversharing, I just said my kid was accepted to X with a great FA package to play football.

Sure it does.....otherwise you’d hear nobody complaining about how kushner’s father bought his admission to Harvard.

Oh please. It takes a grand total of 2 minutes to browse the list... https://www.instagram.com/gonzagaseniors/ Many high schools have similar lists, and it is informative to see them.
