Another family who won't be applying. At this rate, the number of applicants will be equal to the available seats in the freshman class by about the year 2342AD.

I would not send my child to the sister school either.

As soon as the AHC people mentioned that Prep was the brother school, we were out of there. Did not accept.

Of course Prep would guard their own. More reason to dislike their fake religious selves.

You’re pathetic. Send your kid to Sidwell.

Congratulations Prep! Awesome win for a wonderful school!

Please don't listen to the haters on this board or any other platform. Prep is an amazing school for young men and we have been incredibly happy with our son's choice. From the incredibly strong academics to the impressive athletic program and facilities to the strong service and values and to the diverse student body representing 17 countries and 11 states, this school truly has it all.

Do you study GP pamphlets?

Easiest school to get into. They take every Mater Dei kid which is amazing considering that school is just about coloring pictures.

Which sport?

Considering Prep has more boys than any school by far, they should win every IAC championship.

Why do you all hate so much? Jealous? Your son didn't get in? Anti-Catholic? Or maybe you're just a hateful person? All of the above?

Number of boys does not necessarily equate to more talented athletic boys. STA is not that far off numbers wise and they have far less success on the field. Landon is even farther off numbers wise and stronger than STA athletically. Your argument is non-sensical, sorry.

There is no brother school for AHC. It’s close by and it’s Catholic. That’s it. A weird and false reason to reject a school.

AHC and Prep are not brother/sister schools. Stone Ridge is Prep's only sister school. That said, girls from AHC do all kinds of activities with Prep (musicals/plays/field trips etc) and the two schools definitely will be seen at the same parties. It's not at all uncommon for Holy Cross girls to walk over to Prep after school just to hang out, at least when I was there. Make no mistake about it, the two schools are very closely integrated by design of the administrations of both schools. I had plenty of friends with sisters at Holy Cross (along with Stone Ridge, Visi and Holy Child.)

That said, the PP seems like they have a real chip on their shoulder saying they wouldn't send their daughter there just because they commonly associate with GP kids.

Did you turn down Holton because George Huguely went to Landon, its brother school?

You’re ridiculous, PP.
