No, it only rhymes with inertia if you have a Dublin accent, like actress Saoirse Ronan. My Northern Irish colleague pronounces it (his daughter's name) like SOAR-sha. Other Irish people I know pronounce it more like SOAR-sha, too. I can't render their accents phonetically in exactly the right way, but that's the closest I can get. Imagine a little twist of an "ee" sound in the first syllable, but it sounds more like SOAR.

Yes, both pronunciations are correct, but the way Saorse Ronan says it is not the most common way. A PPP thought that there was only one way to say it because of what she'd heard the actress say.

About all the tragedies surrounding the Kennedy family ... Surprised nobody mentioned Ethel Kennedy's nephew was charged with murdering his neighbor and spent a decade+ in jail for the murder. The conviction was fairly recent, compared to the murder which happened in 1975. Beautiful girl, 15 years old when she was found murdered on the Skakel property of Ethel's brother. Her elderly mother pushed unceasingly for solving the murder, but the nephew lived his life undisturbed for decades before finally getting charged and convicted. Unsolved Mysteries had a section on this tragedy. I don't know if they ever definitively proved the nephew was guilty, but they was a conviction, despite all the family money. Who knows.

Go read the freaking news articles . She dies of a drug overdose,either she had been absuing drugs or not is a different but she died of a drug overdose per news articles . Are you that dense??
