hahaha.. gun nutters who donate to NRA got screwed. |
Are gun ranges open during COVID? I don't even know. I wonder how they are in battleground states. |
Is Biden going to turn in his own guns? I don't think so. This is fear mongering. It's like how the they kept pushing the "death panel" narrative with ACA.

| Why is this a surprise? Wayne LaPierre is even more corrupt than McConnell and Trump. |
I think people understand this is about executives and fraud, not the second amendment. Do you think people want their donations going to Wayne's hairdresser? |
What’s not going to play well? If the charges stick most NRA rank and file will be very happy. The organization is a fraud. They take you money for gun advocacy and spend it setting up an intern in luxury apartment and buying designer purses for their APs. |
You're a sucker. Paying for Wayne LaPierre and his family to lie on a beach in the Bahamas 8 times in 2 years to own the libz. The filing claims LaPierre billed the NRA more than $500,000 for private charter flights he and his family took to visit the Bahamas eight times over three years. LaPierre and his inner circle of trusted deputies rerouted millions of dollars in lavish personal expenses for themselves, their families and allies through Ackerman McQueen. The attorney general’s office said it found that Ackerman McQueen billed the NRA $70 million in just 2017 and 2018 for its public relations work, including “out-of-pocket” expenses. A very large portion of those hidden expenses were for personal trips and expenses for LaPierre. In a deposition in a separate lawsuit last year, LaPierre acknowledged he did not report any of the NRA-paid expenses as personal income to the IRS and claimed they were business expenses. More luxury fraud described here: https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/nra-lapierre-ny-attorney-general/2020/08/06/8e389794-d794-11ea-930e-d88518c57dcc_story.html?hpid=hp_hp-top-table-high_nra-1133a%3Ahomepage%2Fstory-ans#comments-wrapper |
| The Republican’s are in these blind denial phase. The NRA President said this was all politically motivated. No it’s not. It’s like the Trump Foundation stealing money from the charity and Donald using it for his own benefit. These idiots were burning through millions for personal travel. This was FRAUD. As a member of the NRA, a registered Republican and a “gun nut,” I don’t want my hard earned money going to these DB’s. |
I'm sorry, but Rs these days are blind and in denial phases for lots of things. I used to be a R. |
Most non profits are rackets. Even the small local ones. Hacks who do nothing making six figs, free car, 12 conferences a year, lavish fringe. |
Interns in luxury apartments? Link? |
I would never in a million years support the NRA. So this doesn’t really affect me. But if I were a donator to the NRA, I would be pissed at the NRA execs rather than the NY atty general. |
If they had paid attention to the reams of reporting on this by the “fake news” linked in this thread, they wouldn’t have been surprised. It’s been building all along. |
