I don't find him attractive. Too old and worn looking.

This is terrible. Why didn’t he call 911 or at least call and warn the mistress?

I thought I read he was waiting for Meredith at a restaurant, they had plans to eat dinner together (a date). When she didn’t show up, he gave up waiting and drove to her house. Which makes it even weirder that if he had received threats from his wife he didn’t call 911 all that time. Scumbag.

No kidding. He only called 911 when it was too late. He didn't care about anyone but himself. That, and he's kinda creepy looking.

I read in another article that when the husband was waiting for the mistress at the restaurant, he started received threatening texts from his wife, so instead of calling the police immediately, he drove to the mistress' house. He probably didn't think his wife would actually follow through with her threats.

I'm waiting to hear whether he even attempted to contact his mistress to alert her to the wife's threatening texts. His going to the house in person wasted time that could have saved two lives. He didn't call the cops (probably because he feared the exposure) but he couldn't even try to warn his mistress either? The woman for whom he supposedly was trying to leave his wife?

The wife broke into the house when the mistress wasn't there yet, and waited until the mistress came home and then shot her (according to the Post). Who knows -- a missed text or call that didn't get seen or heard in time (or just wasn't done at all by the man) could have averted at least one death.

Absolutely. Not surprising, given the situation.

Have you ever thought that this might not have been her fiest time threatening another woman or his mistress?

All the more reason to stay away, if it were me!

No, you didn't get it. He probably didn't taker hwe serious because it wasn't her first rime theatening ro do harm. He might uave cLled and it was too late. He might have ignored her crazy rants that day, looking forward to dinner.

I'm with you on this. My DH has threatened to kill himself but really it's just about him getting me to react or to manipulate me into apologizing or doing whatever it is we're fighting about. It took me a long time, but I finally started telling him that if he was really serious then I couldn't help him and we needed to call 911, and that would put an end to it. If I was in this situation and my DH was at my APs house texting me that he was there and was going to hurt the both of them, I'm not sure how serious I would take him either. I would probably text my AP though about the level of crazy that things were at right then. I wonder if this wasn't the first time she threatened?

His request for a divorce was not a sudden event. She was not blindsided by any chance.

Accept it and leave.

She might have been plotting, but then snapped, for all we know. Point is, we just don't know.

Come to think of it, you are right. I know someone whose DH has pulled this kind of talk many times on his DW. If you knew that couple (I mention) and had to guess, you would say the DW is the "crazy one". But it is the DH that pulls these stunts, and would be the one to snap. I think a lot of times, people assume the women is going to be the one to snap, but statistically, men are more likely to pull something like this.

If it was not sudden why did he move to a new states with her a couple months ago.

Did they move together or was it a "I am coming too" situation. It would be interesting to see if she was requesting the same information in her former state.

You can't just move in with somebody without their permission. Are you daft?

You have a H who threatens to kill himself and you are still married.

You have such a blind spot you can't even see how crazy you are.

No it doesn't. Are you insane. Abusive men can't force a woman to live with him. She can move and not let him move in. Anybody can move anytime they want without being followed by a spouse. SMDH, what planet are you from?

Such a dick move to talk your wife into relocating knowing you are planning to divorce, wtf.

How was he abusive?

I think that guy should go to jail as an accessory to murder! He has blood on his hands.

He is a liar and cheater. That poor wife didn't realize how much better off she would have been to get rid on his cheating a$$

This. She should have gotten rid of him rather than the mistress (who clearly was not a kind person, but still).

Dang! Just read the 2nd article with the family statement. That is a hard way to find out your daughter is slutting around.
