LOL. Oh, honey. You are not making your case here. |
But U.S. News & World Report is not good enough for you? And of course Princeton Review ranks diversity |
| Princeton Review - second paragraph "Diversity is off the charts at GMU" https://www.princetonreview.com/college/george-mason-university-1023322 |
Well, when you make the claim that GMU is the most diverse college in the nation, it’s not that US News is not “good enough” it’s just that it completely refuted your claim. No, it does not. Under demographics it ranks most LGBT friendly, least LGBT friendly, least religious, most religious, least class/race interaction and most class/race interaction. There is “most diverse college” list put out by PR. |
Sexist much? Why do you assume I am female? |
No one is saying that GMU isn’t diverse, dude. Just that if you make a claim that “GMU is the most diverse college in the nation” yet are unable to provide any sort of objective ranking that shows that, you’re going to be called out for it. Sorry. |
Not a honey. You are being sexist and a bully. A prof. saying out of the blue that GMU is the most diverse in the nation says a lot, which is why I remembered the post. You didn't even bother to read it did you? |

"Students call it “Mason Nation” as George Mason University serves 34,000 students from all 50 states and 130 countries and is one of most diverse universities in the nation. It is Virginia’s largest public research university and offers many academic options. Student life is vibrant with over 350 clubs and 1000 events per year. With Washington D.C. nearby, the diverse and global feel is enhanced. A few events celebrating ethnic diversity are Hispanic Heritage Month, Native American/Indigenous Heritage Month, Black Heritage Month, Asian Pacific American Heritage Month, and International Week. The
Office of Diversity, Inclusion and Multicultural Education (ODIME) offers many resources that promote, encourage, and assist the diverse population at GMU. For example, ODIME has an ongoing partnership with Learning Services which offer tutoring services to students in need. With this kind of support, it is no wonder GMU ranks on our top 50 most ethnically diverse schools." Here's the no. 1 in diversity from Princeton Review: "George Mason landed in the No. 1 spot in in the 2015 Princeton Review survey when it comes to the question, “Do different types of students (black/white, rich/poor) interact frequently and easily at your school?”
“The diversity of our student body is well known across the country, so I’m not surprised to see this reflected in the survey responses,” says Marquita Chamblee, director of Diversity, Inclusion and Multicultural Education in the Division of University Life. “It’s a major factor students cite as the reason they choose to attend Mason.” https://www2.gmu.edu/news/802 |
| Niche. GMU rated tops for diversity. https://www.niche.com/colleges/george-mason-university/ |
Niche just has a grade of an "A" for diversity on that link. That doesn't mean "tops". W&M, VCU, and ODU also have "As" based on a cursory check. |
I thought you said it was #1 in the US though |
