This. She's very poised, but shallow. I don't think she's a thinker; she's definitely smarter than her full sibling brothers, but so are turnips.

What's rather odd to me is that when Donald shoots his mouth off whether it's about dating ivanka when she's sitting next to him in an interview or referring to the future breasts his baby girl (Tiffany) will have sitting next to his current wife and the baby's mother, they don't blink an eye. How this can become normal is beyond me.

Honestly, I wouldn't put it past Donald Trump to enforce some type of condition for his children that says if they offend him or speak out publicly against him he will cut them out of the will. He is so self-interested and narcissistic I could see him just blatantly stating this, and would not be surprised if his kids were so accustomed to being rich and spineless that they do it unquestioningly.

Ivanka simply doesn’t belong in the position she is holding. Nepotism is wrong and has no place in the White House. I feel the same about anyone taking advantage of a parent’s position, regardless of looks, education level, intelligence, charisma...Ivanka wasn’t elected and she’s not the First Lady. We aren’t jealous of her, that is absurd. Just because we don’t agree with what she is doing doesn’t make us jealous.

Thank you for responding to my post, OP. Not sure why you picked mine when there are so many others affirming your confirmation bias. Here is the thing. I have teenagers and I’m not going to willingly drag myslef into their world of over-analyzing stupidity when there are so many greater concerns in the world. She gives off good energy to me in the limited time I have thought about it and I legitimately don’t get the “darkness” from her.

Having said that, the entire blood diamond issue which has been around for centuries pisses me off.

I just realized who Ivanka reminds me of: I’ve seen exactly one episode of Starsky and Hutch on one of those old rerun channels. I don’t remember the plot (or what there was of one - those 70s shows didn’t need plot, did they?) but I remember that there was a character who was a former child actress who was completely deluded about her life, which I think had since turned to crime. She lived over an office in a junk yard and she spoke in this super creepy, super breathy voice.

In a nut shell. It has nothing to do with her looks, or what she says (which isn't very insightful TBH) but the nepotism, and the profiteering of the executive branch that is upsetting.
