+1 Ali Center is great even if you don't like boxing. And the tours of Churchill Downs are great and easy to arrange.

We love Utah. It's a seriously gorgeous state. I don't love SLC (though I was seriously impressed by the Discovery Kids Museum on our last trip) we love spending time outdoors there. Scenic hiking everywhere, extremely family friendly and great food.
