Do you believe in ESP and alien abductions? |
And then they can say things like "my God isn't like that." |
Which is what everyone is doing, really -- except those who discard "doctrine" altogether and just try to lead a good life. |
Like Mormons having their private planets in the next life. |
|
There is no hell. You made a decision, get on with your life. If you have bad feelings about it, they'll fade. Go out and treat people well and be the best you can be with this second chance.

And that would be MANY women from around the world screaming in eternal torment, yes? women (and some young girls) who have - married, raised families, done good for humanity, adopted children, fostered children, created opportunities for other women, babysat grandchildren, taught future generations, cured others all screaming in eternal torment, yes?
|
Cue for mellow Christian to come on and say: "My god doesn't have a hell like that. My hell is filled with girlfriends talking about the good old days." |
| If you think your going to hell then you probably are. Whatever your believe in hell is, that is where you are going. |
Do you mean metaphorically, or literally? |
Whoa! I am not religious, so this is interesting to read. You can do ANYTHING, and get a "get out of jail free card" so long as you blah, blah, blah? Nice! Sign me up! |
metaphorically, because literally no one knows what hell is or isn't. |
It doesn't work that way, you have to ask Jesus to enter your heart, and then wait for him to enter. |
How long does that take, or do you mean you have to be sincere, or what do you mean? |
sometimes he enters and sometimes he doesn't -- it's up to Jesus -- the timing and whether he does or not. They say the asker has to be very sincere, but I've heard of many sincere people who were disappointed that Jesus did not take their invitation and some of them think it was their fault -- not doing it right. |
